Is it me or does it seem like every year at state wrestling there seems to always be some kind of controversy. Last year the kid who wrestled Ford for the state title thought he got screwed, was it last year or the year before that McCleary wrestled somebody and people said the other kid got screwed...

i am not a wrestling guy but from what i heard the mcdougall match was a good one. Could have he done something better to not be put into the position that he was put in to?

I haven't had a chance to watch all the Class A matches on the internet yet and was pretty tuned into the B finals when I was in Bismarck, but to my understanding McDougal held a solid lead and was then thrown to his back and pinned... Usually with a solid lead you know the other guy has to go for a throw and avoid tying up with him in a throwable position.

The smartest thing for McDougall to have done have been to "NOT TIE UP" simple as that. Easier said than done and hind sight is always 20/20. McDougall was whoopin Schuh plain and simple 1 good throw and it was over. Bet it doesn't happen to him again..
