MSU just beat another nationally ranked team in Valley City State. The Comets were down by eight with seven minutes to go and rallied back to beat them. The win puts them in sole possession of first place. Marques Benjamin is playing very well right now. I think their biggest test of the season will come next week when they go to Valley City and Jamestown to play on consecutive nights. If they could get a split it would be very beneficial for maintaining the conference lead.

They are moving the College three point line back one foot next year-am I right?

Does that take affect in smaller divisions such as the Dac 10...or is it just the NCAA Div-I

The DAC gets interesting the 2nd time thru. I've seen teams go 6 and 1 the first time thru only to go 2 and 5 the second time around. We will see who is for real in a few weeks.

VCSU beat MSU tonight 92 to 74. These teams are now tied for the Dac lead.

Valley scoring near 100, I can't believe it. There a good team but not usually high scoring team. THe Jamestown Mayville Rematch will be interesting.

I think it must be tough losing by nearly twenty against a team you know you can beat. We'll see how the jamestown game pans out.

Hope VCSU doesnt' come out flat tonight. One thing about the DAC is a big win on Friday can be offset by a loss on Saturday. Dakota State at VCSU tonight I think.

scc, it is just my opinion but it seems you are quite tough on the dac scorekeepers. Why is this?

I think Mayville State brought someone into the game in the last minute who was wearing the wrong number, according to the scorebook. That's a technical foul that should not be called when a team is already down 50+. The official scorer could have kept quiet about it. Just my two cents...

Gotta disagree with you, I don't think it should matter how much anybody is up on anybody the rules should be followed through out the whole game no matter what... Thats just my 2 cents.

i'm just joking. Trying to get cubsfan and scc to respond that's it. TO tell you the truth mayville has had a very good year considering a new team, a new coach, and a new system. TO answer your question, I just guess no one like to talk the conference champs

In the Mayville paper there was an article with JJ talking about the lack of team play at the end of the year, did anyone read it? What is the scoop?

There is too much 1 on 1 going on for MSU. You combine that and a lack of defensive effort and you end up losing in the first round of the Dac playoffs. They lost by 2 to BHSU but did not deserve to win IMO. The effort for the first 26 minutes of the game was just plain awful. BHSU plays Jamestown who beat Dakota Sate by 30 today. Valley beat Dickinson today and Minot beat Mines.

Jamestown is playing Minot State for the championship on Sunday. I think Minot State pulls off the upset. Any other predictions?
