Crosby's goalie has gotten better with his new pads, but its hard when the best defenseman in junior gold history (cole casteel) scores on his own team. ill post it hear since the top goalies is blocked

Sorry, I'm not Cole Casteel's dad.

The deflection own goal was by Alex Power, #11.

I feel bad that most of you guys can't carry on an intelligent debate.

Back to the topic, any more score updates?

Nope, that's not me either. What I think you're talking about is the bounce of off Cole's skate. It happens!

Do have anything to add to the real topic?

I can see that this topic will most likely be locked shortly also.......

The topics are more fun when everyone can act civil and have a good forum regarding the games. This topic was regarding scores from the weekend and has turned into poking fun at people.

It's a long season, anyone can compete with anyone. Last year the 7 seeded team won the state tournament.

I'm no Walsh County fan, but I wouldn't count them out, yet. They were on the wrong side of the home town ref's this time. Defensively, they were aggresive and did a pretty good job of tying the Flyers up along the boards. I believe the Walsh County goalie had something like 60 saves. They were just one step behind on the goals and couldn't keep up when the ref's got too involved in the 3rd period. It was kind of funny when the fists were flying, the Walsh County kid was escorted to the penalty box and the Fargo kid was escorted to the bench. You usually expect that at Park River.

Get off the referee's thing, referee's don't shoot the puck into the net. You just said the goalie had like 60 saves, they didn't do that good of a job tying them up if they got off 60+ shots in a 60 minute game.

I guess the main point was who was on the short end of the power plays. Other than that it was a close game. Personally, I didn't care, just stating what I saw.

you must really hate Fargo AC-DC lol, you have not said ONE positive thing about Fargo yet.
Anyway Crosby to me looked like they got a lot better since the Flyers played them the first time, they just have to work on the players that arent strong on their skates. and it was Cole Casteel that hit it in.....sorry its true

I believe I gave the Flames credit for having the guts to play with 8 kids. It's something we can empathize with. At the game this weekend, all of us parents had that "been there done that" feeling, because that was us in Fargo last year.

It's a shame really, considering the number of people in Fargo, but I've said enough about that.
