[align=justify]Through 35 minutes of play, the Minot High School boys hockey team had Grafton-Park River on the ropes, but Zach Miller came to the rescue.
The senior forward scored the Spoilers’ first four goals of the game, breaking the contest open in the third period en route to a 6-3 G-PR win.
With the game tied at 2-2 early in the third period, the Magicians had numerous good scoring chances, but Spoilers goalie Mike Sand was up to the task.
Just minutes later, Miller struck on a one-timer, power-play goal, giving his team a 3-2 advantage. Miller stuffed in his own rebound at 10:44 of the third to give the Spoilers a little breathing room.
“We talked about it going into the third, that it was important to get that third goal or it could have gone the other way,â€Â
