Carrington only had 87 yards passing and 125 rushing.
Carrington suffers yet another critical injury early in the game.
Milnor won the trenches big time. They stopped Carrington at the 15 yard line and 20 yard line late in the game. Carrington stopped Milnor at the one yard line twice in the first half.
Carrington had 4 turnovers the second half.
At times it looked like neither team wanted to win this one.

Rugby had Kindred in the first and all the sudden they figured something out and by the 4th the JV was playing for Kindred. A shame that Milnor has to play Hillsboro. They should be playing Velva or Beulah.

The bracket never would have been set up in a way for M-NS to be playing anyone other then HCV.

I am saying we have been talking about the new system and trying to get the best two teams playing for the State Champs..... Why punish Milnor for being in the same region as Hillsboro. If anything Kindred and Milnor should have to play in the Semi's.

So just clarifying...are you suggesting to do cross-bracketing for whole bracket...or re-seeding after each round? Just curious as it is another argument for discussion. Doesn't SD do some re-seeding after the 1st Round in their State Playoffs?

G9: 1-2 Kindred (7-2) @ 2-1 (2) Langdon/Edmore/Munich (9-0)
G10: 3-2 (RV) Velva (8-1) @ 4-1 (4) Bowman County (9-0)
G11: 1-3 Milnor-North Sargent (7-2) @ 1-1 (1) Hillsboro-Central Valley (9-0)
G12: 4-4 Beulah (7-3) @ 4-2 (RV) Dickinson Trinity (7-1)
If there is going to be any road team that wins it might be either Beulah or Kindred. I think Bowman and Hillsboro are just two solid teams. Kindred lost to Carrington early in the year 20-0 but that was off of three broken plays other then that Carrington didnt do much. Langdon could have their hands full.

Next year H/CV, Beulah, Hazen and Stanley are going AA. There might be others though too I can’t think off the top of my head.

Next year Trinity will have the smallest enrollment of all Class A schools, actually opted up from 9-man. But those other three school are moving up from what I've seen.

The enrollment argument with private schools drives me crazy. It isn't a matter of they have a small enrollment. You have to look at the kids they have and how they are obtaining those kids. That doesn't even take into account anything like facilities, money families have to spend on things, etc. Trying to compare them to another small public school is ridiculous. Here are some teams that are in the ballpark with enrollments for the next two years with Trinity: Steele, Mohall-L-S, Surrey, Cavalier, Harvey, Standing Rock, and Four Winds. Do we really want to make the argument that all of those schools are the same as Trinity because of enrollment? There is a reason that even though they aren't the biggest enrollment in whatever class they are the private schools tend to fair pretty well.
