I've been to every one of their games and trust me, there's 5. Three of those assistants listed on the page are junior high coaches. Don't believe everything the NDHSAA tells you; I figured you knew that by now Schwab

I don't believe anything the NDHSAA says haha, I was just saying that because I'm sure that's where people got the 8 coaches thing.

You are right Schwab. But, it is the school that is responsible for filling out their own page on the NDHSAA website. So it is likely either the head coach or activities director that filled in the 8 coaches on the page. The NDHSAA had nothing to do with it.

Who the #$%@ cares how many coaches they have??? If its 20 great for them!!!! Glad they could all volunteer or that their school could magically be able to pay them the $3 and hour the average coach makes... LOL. We all know coaches are underpaid and under appreciated. Can I get am amen on that? If they can get 8 guys to help and they all are working together more power to them. I still haven't figured out why ANYONE, for or against it cares. Ill jump off my soapbox now, there are my $.02.... :?

Most communities struggle to find coaches, to have 8 people in one community that want to coach football (even if it is 7-12) is tremendous. Kudos to those coaches that put the time in.

Does anyone have any insight as to how teams like Hazen, Des Lacs, Killdeer, or Bishop Ryan would stack up against Larimore? Who is their biggest threat?

you would think if a team had a legit shot at Larimore that team would stand out. There is no standout team in the west.

IMO Hazen would have the best chance out west. Carr is a stud, period.

This was one of the teams that came to my mind as a team with a stud can be scary in the playoffs. Larimore was able to really bottle up Hankey when they played Park River this year and slow down other teams studs in region play so I think its going to take a very rounded team to knock them off and I'm not sure I have seen one who I feel comfortable saying could. Even with their low numbers, Larimore is really solid in all aspects of the game. If they can stay healthy its going to be tough to knock them off.

A healthy Northern Cass. could still upset Larimore...I don't think Larimore can be a lock for the East quite yet

I wasn't making that insinuation. I think Park River is still Larimore's biggest threat.

NC had injuries when they played Langdon?

Yes NC was. Banged up. Their best player didn't play and they also lost their qb to concussion in the first half. IMO NC is a better team than PRFL. NC is much more rounded on offense. They pass the ball pretty well, have multiple runners that are would start on most teams, and I typically like their play calling. PRFL on the other hand is very one dimensional. Their QB is a strong, hard runner with a nice arm, but not elusive or particularly fast. He is all you really need to key on. Their receivers are not above average even when healthy, I don't feel they are above average at running back. Johnson from PRFL will be the best lineman on the field, if these two teams were to play.
