I have no problem with the put a guy on 2nd and third. BUT the other team should get that chance IMO not a sudden death. Terrible way to end a baseball game!! No chance for the other team. That is NOT Baseball.Rivershark wrote:Anyone know the season records for these teams? Also wondering if you count 5 inning tournament games as an actual game. The 4-3 Beulah win over Park River was actually tied after 5 innings. The 6th inning consisted of flipping the umpires indicator (which Beulah won) and putting a running on 2nd base. Neither teams scored. The 7th inning consisted of flipping the indicator again (which Beulah won) and putting a runner on 3rd with no outs. Beulah scores, game over. No chance for PR. Maybe should put an asterisk behind that win.

Most teams will put a ball in play and score the man on third, so I think the other team should have a chance. IMO. The first extra inning with a guy on second wasn't sudden death I don't think.
