Champs:
Central Cass
Thompson
Carrington
Grafton
Harvey
Bishop Ryan
Watford
Beulah
Really wide open year in all regions.
I feel 4 #1 seeds won't win their tournaments, but my gut made these predictions. It'll be interesting.

Predictions:
Kindred- don't know much about this region. Has been a very competitive region in the past, could be the same again.
Thompson- walks through it unless another cinderella teams comes through and wins the region(and state) like MPCG did last year.
Carrington- could 10 run everyone IMO
Park-River-FL- between them and Grafton. PRFL in the if necessary game
Northern Lights- them and Harvey but NL is just overall better as a team
Velva- 3 team toss up for. whatever team comes to play. think Velva has the deepest pitching staff but very young, Bishop Ryan has the best pitcher but not much else, Surrey is pretty young but they are the #1 seed for a reason
Lewis & Clark/Parshall- If Watford City can play with no mistakes then they'll make a run for it
Buelah- very competitive region. Beulah has a lot of experience and will win it. Shiloh is, Kidder County, and Hazen could all give them a run though.

Think regions 4, 5, 6, and 8 come down to who ever makes the least amount of mental mistakes.

Will somebody clear this up for me?

Central Mclean ace Hunter Jacobs pitched 7 innings Monday. Since Region 6 takes Wednesday off would he be able to go another 7 innings if he needed on Thursday? or just 5?
I know on a 3 day tournament the inning limit is 12 or 3 appearances, but in a non-consecutive day tournament I believe the limit is 14 innings in one week.

Pitching regulations are as follows:
a. An individual may pitch a maximum of 14 innings in any seven-day period.
b. A player may pitch only 12 innings or make only three appearances as a pitcher in a one, two or three consecutive day tournament.

If the tournament goes to 4 days you get 14 innings in the seven day period, so yes he would get his 7

Rugby beat Northern Lights 11-1 today. Just throwing that out there. Based on their seed, I don't think many were expecting that.

For the Pitching rules, I know Harvey had to forfeit a game bc a pitcher threw 17 inn. in a week

Anyone wanna take a crack at the State Tournament Seeds? I'll go:

1. Beulah
2. Thompson
3. Carrington
4. Park River

This is going to be a competitive tournament. Northern Cass should be good, Lewis and Clark should be good. Rugby is playing well and I don't know anything about Central McLean.

I feel anyone of these 4 teams could win it. I've seen PRFL, Thompson and Beulah play a couple 5 inning games and couldn't see any noticeable difference. I think it would be really hard to seat these 4 teams. If you look at their records, this is probably how I would seat them. But I would have a difficult time saying Beulah is better than Park River just because Beulah won a 5 inning sudden death extra inning game based on flipping an umpire indicator. The high school season is so challenging with not being able have the nice weather and playing 7 inning games. Hopefully this weekend the weather will be nice to watch some good baseball. Fantastic that these kids are going to play in such a nice facility.

I agree...Complete toss up. I would love to see the first round go as seeded and have them all battle it out in the semis. What an amazing experience for these kids, to be able to play 3 games in that facility.
