What are the historically strong teams of Class A football?

Just curious, because everyone has their own opinions. And the number of teams changes from year to year. Out of the teams currently in this division, who is historically more successful?

As far as Region 2 is concerned, PRFL and Larimore have generally been playoff teams, and with Harvey rejoining, there's 3 teams that are almost always strong. Linton was a mainstay in Region 1--I was honestly surprised when they went down to 9-man. Oakes goes up and down, but when they're up they're usually very, very good, and the same can be said for Milnor/NS. In region 2, Langdon is the same way. When they're up, they're usually very tough.

I don't know enough about the Western half to confidently state anything, except we know how Hazen has been in recent years and we know what kind of run Velva/Sawyer went on.

Velva and Velva-Sawyer have 9 state championships since 1997. Stanley and Harvey each have 3. Yea I'd say Velva is a great class A football program.
