I would guess either 910 or 1390. Both usually carry sporting events.

I think you're out of luck. Don't think any Minot stations do volleyball.

Not sure if they do...but I do believe you might be able to buy DVDs. I paid for the monthly pass for the tourney. $14.95 is reasonable when you consider you'd spend more than that there (that was my thought-process).

They do become available, just not sure when. I've watched last year's tourney matches several times.

they must have some short time delay. I've watched plenty of other videos after the live event, but always at least a few days after. You have to sign up for a membership to watch, but no fee.

In this case, I was just hoping I would be able to watch today's games -- today.

My guess is they won't be available until after the tournament. Yes, you have to sign up but there is no fee. And the DVDs are ridiculously priced.

btw, are they sticking to the published start times for each game, or do they start the 2nd session early if the first game goes quickly? At the end of the North Star game, I thought I heard them announce that the second game would start at 1:20 rather than the scheduled 2:00, but I didn't stick around to watch.

For your reference I was able to bring up yesterdays games this morning but I did pay for a pass for this tournament so not sure if its available to the free customers. As for the start times, usually at state they like to run them on their scheduled time as fans sometimes only come for their games, but I wasn't there yesterday so I'm not sure if they followed this rule. I know the night games went as scheduled.

Region 4 had another good year at the state volleyball tournament with Northstar winning the championship. This has been very good region for volleyball and depth of the teams competing has been unbelievable in the past 10 years. Looking to next year I don't see any fall off either with Northstar returning number of players, Langdon returning very good team next year, plus Rollette, and Benson County in the mix.

The previous three champions came from Region 1, District 2 (Kindred, Central Cass and Northern Cass) and Hankinson (Region 1, District 1) finished second this year. Good region as well.

for those of you who watch more state-wide VB than I do (which is probably 98+% of you) -- do you think Kvilvang got snubbed for All-State? I was certainly expecting she would get it, but I haven't seen players from the other regions.

7 of the 8 senior athletes made the team and all 7 are deserving.

What shocked me was that Bishop Ryan got both Bohl & Stewart. The games I saw this year I thought Bohl was the better player...and I'd take Kvilvang over Stewart in VB.

And anyone have any analysis of how Hankinson played compared to their usual game? Were they off that night, or were they just not able to handle our hitters? I was certainly expecting more of a match than what we got.

Our Redeemer's seemed unbeatable at times when we played them, they could dig our spikes like no one else. But in the 3 games that we won, they seemed like a different team.

It definitely wasn't Hankinson's finest match...but that should be to North Star's credit. Hankinson looked tentative in the 1st set...nerves most likely. North Star was very good and would have been my #1 seed going into State.

My seeding, based on what I saw this year, would have been: 1. NS, 2. ORCS, 3. Hankinson, 4. Hazen
