Hazen looks to be favorite. Return a lot from a state championship team while other teams lost a lot of seniors. I'd say if Killdeer finds guys to replace some of their o line then i'd say they are looking at the 2 with some of their skill positions followed by HR, New Salem, Central Mclean, Garrison, and S. Mclean.
1. Hazen. State champions and one of the best RBs in the state in Briar Borneman. 2. Kildeer. Always has a strong program and fills spots lost to graduation. 3. Heart River. Lost a lot but has a few kids that make a very good nucleus. 4. Southern McLean. Skill positions should be strong, but lack size and experience on the line. 5. New Salem. Will definitely battle for a playoff spot. 6. Garrison-Max. QB and RB return as 3 yr starters(?). Still a ways back in the region. 7. Central McLean. Makes the jump to 11 man with only 1 senior, could be a long year. 8. Standing Rock can't put it together. They will only play a JV schedule.
4 and 5 spot are very interchangeable. Good luck to all the teams.
1.Killdeer- Rohr, Dobitz, Knopik, and some other King kid? Too much speed. 2.Hazen- Good overall but I've heard rumors that Bornamann is out for the season?
3.New Salem- Big line, Cofer is a fast, shifty running back. 4.Heart River- Obristch if healthy is all region linebacker. 5.Central McLean 6.Garrison-Max 5 & 6 are a toss up here. 7.Standing Rock- JV Schedule, JV Standings.
that's weird to see usually it's size for killdeer and speed for hazen. Hazen does have some pretty good speed though in Bornemann. plus their fullback Nate Leintz is underrated in the speed department.
