I think it is a pretty well-known fact that state was a little short. No offense to the runners but i would add about 15 seconds to each time.
The course was not as short as you may think...its because the course was mostly flat...I mean really you only have one hill on the whole Valley City course and its right at the beginning and you don't even notice it. If I remember correctly from when we measured the course last year, it was 4,980 meters long...so it was only short 20 meters...that's barely any time

King Joash Osoro only ran 15:18 with the best runners in the nation at Nike Nationals in 2008. So they were only 17 seconds slower than that with MUCH less competition?
