So in a perfect 6 man world the regions could look something like this. Just going by schools that have their own basketball team, you would think they could have a 6 man football team. Some of these schools would probably never consider it and there are some who would consider it but are not listed.

Region 1
Dakota Prairie
Lakota
Maple Valley
Sargent Central
Warwick

Region 2
Burke County
Drake-Anamoose
Drayton/Valley-Edinburg
Powers Lake
Rolette-Wolford

Region 3
Alexander
Grenora-Westby
Mandaree
Trenton
Trinity Christian

Region 4
Center-Stanton
Flasher
Glen Ullin-Hebron
New England
Wilton-Wing

A few of my thoughts:
If Glen Ullin and Hebron had a football co-op, like they do with basketball, I would guess they would have enough students to play 9-man. Maybe they both would be able to have their own 6-man team.
Flasher is currently the bigger school in their co-op with Grant County so Grant County would have to play 6-man in this scenario as well.
Max could be added to one of these regions.

There are even more than this that could have six man team Midkota, Barnes county north, medina./pingree.Buchann, and Edley/Kulm for a few. There are probably more than this if you would at all possibilities. If you look a lot of these schools are in same basic areas it would cut down on travel and there would be some good rivalries that could come out of this.

Yea just kinda through this together quickly. I'd rather see schools that can have a basketball team be able to field a football team instead of joining another school. Didn't like the 6 man idea at first but it seems intriguing.
