Bottineau is probably unbeatable, but they were last year too, and they lost to Mohall in the regional championship.

Yeah I really dont know if there is going to be anyone that can touch them this year. Maybe Maple Valley or Trenton.

Bottineau would mop the floor with Trenton. Basketball in the very west is bad.

Bottineau should have beaten Mohall last year in the region championship too, but anything can happen.  They have a lot of kids and they should have excellant depth that the smaller towns can't match.  Trenton is a pretty small school.

Trenton is pretty solid, but Bottineau will have to beat themselves if they lose.

Trenton has Kim Oyloe, probably all-state caliber and a couple other good players, but I don't think they can hang. They have beat up on some crappy Montana teams to get to 12-0 (they did beat Watford City).

A team with a big girl like Sheridan County (Feickert) could give Bottineau problems, but they'd need to have really good guard play as well, because most guards can't handle Bottineau's pressure.

Plus Bottineau has at least three legit scoring options who can put 20 on anyone.

I see Ryan got knocked off by Our Redeemers, I wonder if Kenmare has a chance against them.

Bottineau destroyed Minot Ryan this weekend, barring any major slip-ups they are the class of the state.

But, that's why they play the games, hmm?

yup... I still think Century has a chance at topping Mandan, but I haven't seen anyone that can come within a dozen of Bottineau this year.
Dix. Trinity only lost by seven or something, but they were down 20 the whole game.

Oak grove beats the #2 team in the state by 18 pts. What happened to Maple Valley?

Kenmare managed to stay ahead of Bottineau most of the first quarter last night, but Bottineau started the game with cold shooting. Then early in the second 1/4 Bottineau had a 10-0 run that put them up by 15. Bottineau clung to a 14-17 point lead until midway through the 4th 1/4 when they had another scoring run that put them up by 30. Bottineau won by 29.

Last night was one of the few times this season Bottineau looked beatable at times. Kenmare has a great, young team. The will be a team to watch the next couple of years.
