no kidding. Was the other team playing Hack'a'Shaq on them or what? Thats ridiculous. Maybe they just sent Ben Wallace to the line everytime. He's right around that free throw percentage. I haven't seen any high school girls team shoot that bad from the line.

Don't you have to forfeit a game if you can only put 3 players on the floor?  I have no idea, just thought I remember hearing that somewhere.  anybody know that for sure?

In the early 90's I went to a Glen Ullin vs. Regent game, I don't recallthe exact #'s but the fouls were like 40+ for GU and less than 5 for Regent.

When I played in high school a few years back, we sent a post player from the other team to the free throw line 33 times.  We hacked him every time he touched the ball in the second half because he was a horrid free throw shooter.  He finished something like 3-33. Poor kid. LOL

If players foul out, the game may be played with fewer than five players.  Mayville State's women's team ended up with four players once or twice a couple years ago.

Paraphrasing out of the rule book:

Teams must have at least five players to start the game.  Teams can continue with fewer than five players until they are down to one, in which case it is the referee's discretion on whether or not to forfeit the game.

I want to say something like this has happened twice down in Edgeley. The other time was when Steele-Dawson played them. There was a tremendous amount of fouls on both sides of the ball and the number of free throws was up there also, not as many as in this game but somewhat similar. Coincidence????

If that's the case, make you wonder what is going on down there exactly.

I did here that they did start fouling with 2 minutes to go in order to get back in the game. A lot of fouls can be committed in that amount of time, but still 57 total, OUCH!! I would be more dissapointed in the fact that they missed around 30 free throws!! Also heard that Central Prairie actually had 10 more Field goals than CP, but with the fouls, you see the outcome, overcoming 20 points with free throws is quite a feet.
