Thoughts on the four Championship games, and the four third place games. Which region runner ups and third place winners will advance to state?

3rd Place
Region 1 - Maple River vs LaMoure-L-M
Region 2 - (10) St. John vs Benson County
Region 3 - Hettinger-Scranton vs Grant County-Mott-Regent
Region 4 - Towner-Granville-Upham vs Berthold

Championship
Region 1 - (5) Sargent County vs (6) Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier
Region 2 - (1) Langdon-Edmore-Munich vs (2) May-Port-C-G
Region 3 - (3) Bowman County vs (4) Central McLean
Region 4 - (8) Kenmare-Bowbells vs D8#3 Our Redeemer's

EKM looks hungry and the other teams look glad to be there

Both 1 and 2 will make state, not sure of the order
1 May Port

Region 3
I think Bowman will win this one in a very close one, but Central McLean will also go to state

I think your 8 are solid...I like Sargent County (R1#2 getting past St. John in the qualifier)

I also do think GC/MR would give Kenmare or ORCS a solid qualifier game.

These qualifier games are such a nice addition to the postseason...really intriguing!

I feel St J had a tougher schedule (and was overlooked because of their district and region), but it should be a good game.

Do you know if the play-in games are televised?

PSP Network is covering the West Qualifiers (but I'm not sure if that's free or pay)

Unless this has been changed your first round opponent cannot be a team you played in your region tournament.

Unless this has been changed your first round opponent cannot be a team you played in your region tournament.

Going to have to reset region 2, Benson County defeats St. John. Not sure if BC has what it takes to win the play in game, but could make it interesting. And MayPort is beating up on Langdon right now, they look really good!

Question: Who updates the NDPrepsscoreboard?
Just clicked there was not even a schedule for tonite 2-22-24. My computer problem?

BC is going to have to force some turnovers otherwise I think they'll get beat up by EKM. Who knows though, sometimes you face teams you're not used to playing and the opposing scouting reports aren't as good as they should be and they let the wrong girls get open from outside. BC has two girls who can shoot it well.

I had it updated to flip at 4:30 this afternoon to the correct document page...it failed to update until 10:30 tonight. Apologies on that but Flip is correct...you can see any time frame via the dates on the bottom.

Took BC a while to get going (down 12-3 early), but owned the second quarter to lead at the half. Third quarter back and forth, but EKM scored the last 6 to lead 37-35. Then EKM scored the first 12 of the 4th and the game was basically over. BC started rushing and forcing shots and free throws put the game out of reach.

Great season for BC and they will be ones to watch for in the next 2 years. Definitely see them as one of the top 5 teams in the state for next season.
