Feel free to discuss, who everyone thinks will come out of each region. Which underdog team will get hot, and make a run in their respective region to possibly the semi-finals or region title game?

I'll take a shot:

Region 1 - Kindred over CC. (Deuchscherer makes the difference)
Region 2 - Grafton over Thompson. (size matters)
Region 3 - EKM bounces back from a loss in Districts and wins it over Linton-HMB.
Region 4 - Four Winds over Langdon.
Region 5 - Bismarck walks thru this tournament (as usual) and beats Garrison in the Championship.
Region 6 - Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood over Minot.
Region 7 - Beulah over Glen Ullin.
Region 8 - Kenmare over New Town.

R1: Kindred, CC, NC, Sargent County
R2: Grafton, Thompson, MPCG, Cavalier
R3: Linton-HMB, LaMoure-LM, EKM, Oakes
R4: FWM, LEM, Benson County, St. John
R5: Garrison, Shiloh, Central McLean, Grant County
R6: Rugby, MLS, Bishop Ryan, Des Lacs-Burlington
R7: Beulah, Glen Ullin-Hebron, Bowman, Mott-Regent
R8: Kenmare, New Town, Divide County, Stanley

Seeds
1. Kindred
2. FW-M
3. Grafton
4. Rugby
5. Garrison

Which would leave someone randomly getting Linton and the other two getting ‘easier’ quarterfinal games. I wish they were all seeded

any postponements other than Region 1?

Three is playing Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Two is playing today.

Region 1 - Tu, Th, F
Region 2 - Mon, Tu (1 game), Wed afternoon, Th
Region 3 - Tu, Th, F
Region 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 - on as scheduled

My predictions for region winners:

- Region 1: Kindred over CC
- Region 2: Grafton over Thompson
- Region 3: EKM over Linton
- Region 4: Four Winds over Langdon
- Region 5: Shiloh over Central McLean
- Region 6: Mohall over Rugby
- Region 7: Glen Ullin over Beulah
- Region 8: New Town over Kenmare

Hard to see New Town move on after struggling with Tioga today; maybe it was the wakeup call they needed.

Weather could have an impact this week. Especially if a region gets moved to Th, F, Sat. Are some of these teams with short benches going to be able to move through 3 games in 3 days on a big floor?

My question would be...would these regions be willing to play late AM/Early PM on Wednesday then go Th & Sat? So that boys' games don't affect attendance on Friday OR have to be rescheduled to dates that aren't available either.

I kind of want to see all the favorites win. It would make for a more competitive state tournament.

R1 & R3 will be Th, F, Sat now

Good catch. Old football habit apparently. I fixed it.

I admittedly don't know as much about the west as east so used what I did know and comp. scores to pick out there. Also picked before I saw the Tioga result.

Rugby lost. GU too, but I didn't expect them to get a seed.

Well I got the right 4 teams in R2, R5, R6, R7 & R8
Flip R5 to CM; Flip R6 to MLS and cheering for M-R in R7 but will hold my Beulah pick there
