Take the heights with a grain of salt. I believe Walker is 6'3" but usually you can subtract 2 inches off of every girl on the roster. Moe was 5'10 in VB and 6' in basketball. Cassie Sieben was 5'10 last year and 5'8 this year in Mayville. Julia Dusek always grew two inches from VB to basketball too.vikingman wrote:barrage of 3s gets CC right back in it after being down 19
CC actually took the lead too. Grafton struggled with CC's press. Smith gets so many loose balls and she is incredibly strong. Her passes are so strong, like literally strong. She gets a lot of power behind them. Good game.
defensewinsgames wrote:Well apparently Four Winds matches up well with them but their tallest girls are: 5' 11", 5' 10", 5' 9". I'm less concerned about matching up with their height than I am if Grafton has enough guard play to get through a regional tournament and on a run through a state tournament. Yeah they have size but I think you press hard and run a smothering 2-3 zone taking away down low and I'm not sure the guards of Grafton can get it done at this early point of the season. They still have time to develop and grow obviously.
Flip wrote:Thompson will have the best shot vs them in the region, but they won't press unless they absolutely have to and I don't think they would play zone either. The only time I remember them playing 2-3 was the 3rd place game in Minot a few years ago vs MPB when they were HUGE. I haven't seen Thompson play this year so I'm curious how they would match up.

Northern Cass travels to Cavalier on Wednesday for an intriguing game
Shiloh plays Langdon on Thursday in Minot and plays Kindred on the 1st in Jamestown

Thanks. Kindred and Linton tomorrow too.

Kindred @ Grafton
Linton-HMB @ Shiloh
FWM @ Thompson
is the Shiloh game being streamed?
WalkingStick wrote:#1 Kindred def. #3 Grafton 74-67; Grafton took a lead with under 4 minutes to go...then Kindred finished on a 10-2 run.
#6 Linton-HMB dominates #7 Shiloh Christian 43-24
#2 Four Winds-Minnewaukan def. #8 Thompson 65-51
