Region 1 - Kindred. Richland could be top 10 team too IMO.
Region 2 - Thompson returns 3 all region players, but this is Grafton's region to lose.
Region 3 - Has to be Kidder County
Region 4 - LEM
Region 5 - no idea, but I bet Shiloh is in the mix
Region 6 - I don't know.
Region 7 - I don't know.
Region 8 - Trenton

Top 5
1. Kindred
2. LEM
3. Grafton
4. KC

R1- More than likely Kindred. But other teams like Richland, CC, Northern Cass could make it interesting.

R2 - Thompson, Grafton, Park River-F-L, May-Port-CG

R3- Oakes, Kidder County, Carrington, LaMoure-L-M, Linton-HMB. Oakes was coming on strong during districts and regions. I believe they return everybody except one.

R4- Langdon-Edmore-Munich, FW-M, Harvey-Wells County,

R5- Flasher, Grant County, Underwood, W-W, Shiloh

R6- Rugby, MLS, Velva

R7- Hettinger-Scranton, Trinity, Bowman County, Beach

R8- Trenton

This is just based on what they return a few regions are toss ups like R3, R5, & R7.

Region 5 is a real toss up this year? These five teams have a lot of experience players returning.

This seems like the best place to post this.
Below are the region hoopster favorites.

State tournament was awesome last year and it has a chance to have a lot more talent this year.
1 - Kindred should be better, they graduated one role player.
2 - Grafton beat Kindred last year and I think they have a chance to be a lot better than last year and they may have been the best team in the state last year.
3 - KC should be better too. Graduated one role player. #1 seed in state tournament
4 - #2 seed in the state tournament didn't graduate anyone. Beat Grafton last year.
5, 6, and 7 - I'm not really sure. HS should probably be improved from last year.
8 - Trenton didn't graduate anyone last year and had an undefeated regular season.

Who are your top 10 entering the season NOT based on the hoopster? Not going by every region, I didn't mean for the confusion.

Example: Like the state ranking

1. Kindred
2. Thompson
3. Langdon-Edmore-Munich
4. Trenton
5. Grafton
6. Hettinger-Scranton
7. Kidder County
8. Velva
9. Oakes
10. Underwood

It looks like Langdon in 19-20 could have a year similar to Thompson last year. Both schools won Football and Volleyball championships, Thompson had a shot at the Girls BB championship last year, and Langdon should have a good chance this year. Thompson boys won it all last year, but I don't think the Langdon boys team is going to be matching that feat. Still, to have a legit shot at 3 major sport crowns in one year is quite an accomplishment.

Had a coach tell me this summer Langdon wasn't deep, but their top 5 or 6 are very good.

They didn't graduate anyone and were the #2 seed in the state tournament, they should be good.

I think Langdon, Grafton and Kindred should be the top 3 favorites. During the regular season last year Langdon beat Grafton. Grafton beat Kindred and Kindred won one or two big games last year too.
