Sorry, if my opinion that any team can beat each other on any given night. Not complaining. Just stating what I have observed.

That was the case last year too, at least for the state tournament. #2 and #3 seed went down in the first round. #5 seed won it all, but had to win on a buzzer beater to win in the first round.

Grant County shouldn't of been a 5 seed at all, should've been a 1-3.

If KC plays the rest of the tournament like they just played the first half of round one, they will be tough to beat in Region 3. They had 11 threes the first half!!! Schmidt had 6 threes, 20 points at half...

Is their any radio broadcast of the Region 5 Tournament in Mandan. I know Grant County vs Washburn & Underwood vs Shiloh Christian play on super talk 1270 am. But was wondering about the other two games.

Thanks.

Two great games in day one in region 3! Was surprised how long it took Carrington to get going, lucky to be playing tomorrow. If Hoorneat is unable to play, Carrington will need a heck of an effort from the rest of the team to get by KC. Oakes and Lamoure should be a very competitive game.

KC 81-72 OT. One of the most one-sided officiated games I’ve seen in a long time.

And? Please refer to all of my posts on this site, not once have I mentioned officiating. KC is a very good team, just my opinion that Carrington was not given a fair shake. Life goes on, should be another good game on Thursday night.

Either is KC.

I actually think they both should get seeded, if they make it.

KC #1?

That's close, I might lean towards Langdon if they get there. I wouldn't give it to Grafton or Thompson over them.

If Grafton wins, I think they need to be considered for the top spot. I agree on Thompson.

Teams that should be considered for the seeds, depending on results tonight:

Kindred
Whoever comes out of region 2
Kidder County
Whoever comes out of region 4
Hettinger-Scranton
Trenton

In my opinion, teams I could see an argument being made for the top seed by: region 2 champ, Kidder County, region 4 champ and Hettinger Scranton.
