I can see Thompson being ranked higher than Langdon.
I can't see Grafton being ranked higher than Langdon.
FW could be ranked higher than Thompson, but probably not Grafton.
It will be interesting. I think if KC wins they'll be #1 although I don't think they're the best team.

Either is KC.

KC is absolutely a better team than last year. Benz was a great player, but this team has more balance.

100% agree...

With regard to seeding, this tournament is a tough one. I gotta believe KC gets #1. Langdon is good. Kindred is good. Thompson is good. I’d hate to play Rugby the first round. The West sounds good as well. Should be a great tournament.

#1 Kidder County
#2 Langdon-Edmore-Munich
#3 Thompson
#4 Hettinger-Scranton
#5 Trenton
Kindred
Rugby
Shiloh Christian

More than likely Hettinger-Scranton & Trenton with be playing against each other in the 1st round. But if not this is my state championship game prediction. With Trenton winning by a buzzer beater. :D

That’s ur opinion and that’s fine

Region - (QRF) Team - Losses
1 - (11) Kindred - DGF(2), Thompson(2, 3OT), Grafton(7)
2 - (9) Thompson - Grafton (9), Four Winds(6)
3 - (5) Kidder County - none
4 - (1) Langdon - Stephen Argyle(3), Thompson(4, 2OT)
5 - (23) Shiloh - 6 losses, no seed possibility
6 - (8) Rugby - Four Winds(6), Carrington(1), Trenton(2), Velva(2)
7 - (10) Hettinger-Scranton - Linton-HMB(3)
8 - (6) Trenton - none

My prediction
1 - KC
2 - Langdon
3 - Thompson
4 - Trenton
5 - Kindred
This is a really good group. 7 of the top 11 QRF. Rugby doesn't have a bad loss and I don't think they have much shot of getting a seed. HS obviously might get a seed too.

My personal rankings would look like this:

1. Kidder County
2. Thompson
3. Langdon-Edmore-Munich
4. Trenton
5. Hettinger-Scranton
6. Kindred
7. Rugby
8. Shiloh Christian

Really excited for this year's state tournament

I agree with Run from the standpoint, that I too have seen 6 of them play (except Trenton and HS) and think Langdon is the best team/team to beat. However, I will switch around KC and Langdon from his list for my prediction just because I don't think the coaches will put the undefeated KC in any other position but #1.

LaMoure may not have as good of individual talent as last year, but the question was if they are a better TEAM. And yes they are a better team because they play better team ball which is what it takes to win games.

Really thought Kindred would get a seed... Langdon will have their hands full in the first round. Looking forward to another great tournament.

Thompson playing in their backyard on a court they have dominated is going to be a serious advantage.

I'm surprised too that Kindred didn't get a seed. That being said, I do think they are not quite the team they have been in the past. They just don't seem to have the depth. Kindred's top end ceiling is very high but I think their next level is well below the second level of the other top end teams I've seen.

Lots of parity this year which I think will throw off the seeding some. I am looking forward to watching the games for sure!

If Thompson can get by Shiloh that place will be buzzing Friday night. Kindred or Langdon will bring a ton of fans.
