Killdeer maybe on the bubble?

depends on the R1 title game.

My Thoughts:
1. Medina/Pingree-Buchanan
2. Langdon/Edmore/Munich
3. Rugby
4. Thompson
5. Kindred (if they win...and they could be #4 and Thompson drops to #5) or Killdeer

Random Seeds
Watford City
Grant County

If Lisbon wins they're not getting a seed?

I don't think so...

Grant County should be the 2 at least. Everyone forgets they were ranked #2 preseason, then had a major injury to their best player, missed most of the year, and now with their whole team finally healthy, beating an undefeated team, they are the team to beat imo.

IF they play MPB, it will be a 15+ game.

Grant County has a slight chance at getting a seed...IMO. Watford City will be a tough Random Seed.

Possible, but 4 out 5 of their district/region tournament games have all been within 15 points and they only beat Oakes by 18.

You are right. I might be overreacting after watching them outplay my Cardinals the last 8 minutes of the game.

I'll take that bet. $100?

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. Should be a fun state tournament. It will be interesting to see if M-P-B can carry the banner for Region 3. All 3 of the teams that made it to state last year are on the Thunder's side of the bracket. Despite their win-loss record, Watford City is a tough draw for them in the first round.

I'll pass. MPB has 3 girls above 6 foot that are all aggressive and about 4 girls who can hit threes consistently. Very hard to score in the paint against them and if you aren't hitting your threes they'll sit back in a 2-3 zone with 6-3 Uehran under the hoop with her hands in the air. I don't see them losing unless a team can get them in an up-tempo game--- Kindred possibly?? Have not seen them this year but if they can press close to what we saw in last years state tournament?

They sound like the harlem globetrotters. How did they lose 2 games?

No, they are for sure beatable. Those two losses came pretty early in the season and were to two of the toughest teams in the state. I am by no means an MPB fan so I have no bias towards them. The way some of their adult fans were treating the high schoolers from my area on Thursday night is going to make it very hard to root for the thunder.

I agree sportsfan, wonder if the lightpoles in Pingree were greased prior to the game.

I did not think MPB was the best team in region 3. Carrington’s zone/ lack of pressure cost them (IMO). I do, however, think MPB will win it all. But they are beatable.

In regards to Sportsfan111, what happened with the adult fans and high schoolers?

Carrington's high schoolers decided to fill into Lamoure's section at the conclusion of the third-place game and LLM fans had cleared out. MPB fans had the same idea. Carrington students got there first. A few MPB parents decided to shove the students in the front row aside and take their place. Students decided they'd continue to stand in front of said parents. Parents were screaming in the kid's ears until the kids decided to give it up. Was quite the spectacle.

In all fairness to MPB fans, it was about five people.
