Region 3 looks to be once again one of the toughest regions to get out of just like volleyball.

Kindred should not even be receiving votes this coming poll after that loss to Napoleon. Is Thompson legit? Barely got by FSHP and Lamoure crushed them a week or two ago.

Thompson lost to #1 Langdon by 10 in a game that was tied going into the 4th quarter. They haven't played LaMoure. Will Kindred drop from #4 to not receiving a single vote? Not likely.

My guess is that Thompson had a cold 2nd half of shooting against FSHP...as they were up 31-14 at the half. Every team has some shooting woes during a season...especially in road games.

He is saying Lamoure crushed FSHP. So did Grafton. Thompson is definitely struggling right now. The will most likely still be the team to beat come the end of the season in R2. They return EVERYONE from the team that finished runner-up. Grafton is playing the best basketball in the region right now.

I think Langdon is struggling a bit now too, at least by the looks of their scores.

I was just wondering why the game was close. I can understand coming out a little lackadaisical in the second half against a not-so-exciting opponent. As for Kindred, I have watched Napoleon a couple times... Simply put- a 14 point loss to them is not top ten worthy and is pretty embarrassing. For the record, I don’t think Langdon is legit (just my opinion). Time will tell.

Who would you rank ahead of Langdon Munich Edmore at this time?

I don't think there is a Kindred/North Star/Park River team like last year.

I'm going to believe Kindred wasn't at full strength.

Most of the teams I’ve watched thus far in the season represent region 3- so I don’t feel I can compare them to teams in other regions until there is more crossover between regions. Lamoure plays PR Thursday(?) and Carrington plays Langdon over break. Carrington was up by forty most of the game against Napoleon (took MPB to OT) and they have been playing without their best player since the beginning of the season, so they will be a pretty good test for Langdon.

The only reason I said my above statement is because I thought Lamoure, Thompson, Bismarck, and Langdon would all fall this weekend. I was right about 2/3, we will see about the other on Saturday.

Lamoure lost to MPB by 11 so they should fall (maybe to RV), Thompson lost to Four Winds so they should also drop out of the top five.

#2 Shiloh Christian def. #7 Rugby 45-44 (Rugby could likely stay in Top 10)
#8 Medina/Pingree-Buchanan def. #5 LaMoure-LM 56-45 (don't see L-LM dropping completely out next week)
Four Winds-Minnewaukan def. #3 Thompson 50-49 (Thompson will drop to the 6-7 range)
RV Grafton def. #9 Kindred 53-50 (Kindred will drop out of poll...maybe still RV)

Langdon/E/M plays Kidder County (Fri) & #6 Carrington (Sat) at Jamestown's Holiday Shootout.

Kidder County just beat Langdon 58-44... Langdon’s got another tough game tomorrow night against Carrington.

Carrington lost to Langdon by 4. Carrington decided to show up at the end of the fourth.

Side note- nice to see Haley Hewit get a couple minutes! Hopefully she can stay healthy and finish the year. Fun player.

MPB recently beat Lamoure and I believe it was by double digits? hmm.. Carrington also beat MPB a few weeks ago without their best defender from a season ago who also averaged 15 points a night.
