Nice thought BigCat. Unfortunately that's not going to happen. By the way BigCat, that was a pretty poster you made last night. It's always nice to get a little recognition.

What did my poster say and how do you know it's me? What side of the NorthStar gym was I sitting on?

Well BigCat, did your prediction come true or were you thinking of a different team?

I was 96% correct. I was off by four (points). Had you thinking though. Thompson is darn good for a young team. Look what they've done as a young team against the top 5 teams they've played.

Two good games on Thursday with four teams who have played each other tough. PRFL and Thompson should be a good game along with Kindred and Tri-state (FCT). Thompson played PR and Kindred tough earlier as did TS against Kindred. Kindred has played FCT/TS the last thee years in the region final and they've all been tight games. They really don't seem to like each other very much. Should be a good game as well.
Throw out the stats and records from here on in!

Thompson is such as young team that has played well all season. Outside of a thrashing by North Star their next worse loss is by 5 to Kindred, their other losses have been by 4 or less.

Tri State is the sort of team that can beat Kindred. Burns, the point guard can handle the press and they have some height in the half court which will give a relatively short Kindred some issues. If Tri State can prevent open 3-point shots and work the ball inside they have a chance.

But I think the top seeded team win both games in Regions 1 and 2. PRFL by 8 and Kindred by 12.

Predictions for state tournament bracket (Or at least what I think it should be):

#1 - North Star vs (EKM, OR, or GU)
#4 - Watford City vs #5 - Grant County

#2 - Kindred vs (EKM, OR, or GU)
#3 - Park River vs (EKM, OR, or GU)

Anyone else have different opinions?
