Do not sleep on FCT MV SC or in region 1 if Kindred were to have a bad game any of those 3 teams could beat them

Sniper and Scoobyx, as much as I would love to see Garrison coming out of Region 5, I think that is a crazy(little harsh) prediction.......Garrison has a great record, but only team they played all yr was Parshall and lost by 23 pts...............I do think Region 3 is a tossup, I have Carrington tho...........North Star game vs Lakota might be tossup too, I just like Lakota again this yr. I dont know Kindred or FCT but listened to the FCT game vs Maple Valley last night, FCT sounds good and they are young to boot.

For sure!.....why is the final not till Friday in region 2?

is this because of all the Region 2 Boys games Thursday night?

Looks pretty good Sniper, but I think I'd have to respectfully suggest that as much as I'm a fan of both LLM and NS; I'd have to go with Carrington and Lakota-Edmore. NS has not traditionally faired well against L-E with their combination of size and tenascious defense. Maybe they're tougher mentally this year with the experience of the State VB tourney. I agree with ndlions...should be great games!

NS has played well in their last two games. If Kvilvang has 25-30 with a number of blocks and rebounds, I think they can contain Freije a bit. Hagler is the x factor to me. If she has a big night I think NS wins. LE just doesn't have anyone that can step up besides Freije

I think the X-factor in the game is Martinson...she has to get at least 10-12 points...Kvilvang wont score big in this one with FF guarding her which applys to your X-factor Hagler....then again FF might be on Hagler at times....but Pesek and Martinson have to score...if not FF has to go for 40 at least and we know she can...even against NS..... :) gonna be a good one...

In Region 2? I really thought Grafton was going to squeak one out on the Toms even before the game started....11 points deficit hurt them though...

Can PRFL pull off the Championship? possibly they have more size than Grafton and match up better with the bigs for Thompson....Thompson shoots well so they (prfl) have to seal the perimeter....it will boil down to PR's confidence, they'll need to stay poised ... :)

LE is led by Freije but I disagree that other girls for LE are not capable of stepping up. This team has played very well together and they know their roles and is what is expected of them. LE's Pesek and Halberg can shoot well and capable of hitting threes but this team is based on Freije working inside and
hitting her shot or hitting other girls who come open when she draws the defense. The last couple of games teams have worked on denying the pass from Freije and forcing her to shoot with pressure on her based on belief she alone can't beat them. Freije has responded well with additional scoring and with their defense it has been enough to win. They also play very good defense for four quarters and then rebound well. The game with Northstar to me comes down to if LE is able to play its aggressive defense and if they control the boards. The style of play will be determined by referees and is going to have big effect on this game. If its a game where teams are allowed to become physical I think LE wins going away and if its one where referees blow the whistle a lot I would put Northstar with the advantage. In the past the region championship is usually tough physical game but so far this year refereeng has appeared other way this year in region 4. Also Northstar has played either close or lost to teams that match up with them size wise this year and LE will match up with Northstar fairly close. I think its going to be very close game and how game is refereed is going to be determining factor.
