They haven't beat anyone good yet (IMO). Had they pulled out that win vs. Carrington in their opening game then this may have be a different discussion.

They almost pulled it off against Northstar last night. Down 15 at the half and they cut it to 3 in the fourth quarter before Northstar pulled away.

NS was without their stud Kvilvang and Hagler was playing her 1st game of the year! IMO if Kvilvang was down low we would have seen a much different result.

I know these polls really don't mean much. However, I have seen Thompson, Lakota, Shiloh, Dickinson Trinity, Parshall, and Watford City play this year. I think I would rank Watford above all those teams.

remember pollers don't see all of the games, as all of us don't, but its a good measuring stick to use. I have seen Thompson 2 times and parshall, lakota once, and i have talked to 2 people that have seen watford play. and the only team that is over ranked maybe is Lakota, but come Jan 17, we will have some shake up in the polls, good game between Kindred and Thompson, good athletes on both sides of the court, couple players(that are good leaders and team players)that we might be seeing down the road in D1. If either team had a taller (6"+) person on their team, i think they could take down Bishop on a neutral court(the reason i think this is because last yr at state, a athletic team almost beat them at state if the refs would called a fair game and let the kids decide the game, i hate to blame refs but it was bad at the end), any thoughts on the Kindred vs Thompson game(i understand its a ways out and anything can happen)?

Ya I am interested in to who you think can play D1 from either of these schools?
It is a little harder to motivate kids I guess because they’ve been pampered so much. We’re in the trophy generation, give ‘em a trophy for 23rd place, make ‘em feel good. Make mom and dad feel good.” Tom Izzo, Michigan State Basketball

I've only seen Thompson, the player you must be referring to must be from Kindred? Thompson has a nice team, work hard, good press. I didn't seen anyone that I think could play D1.

I've seen Thompson play, twice. Not near the team they had the last 3+ years. And they have no one who can play DI, or D2, for that matter. Perhaps NAIA. But I love this constant push you have Radball about Thompson and its DI player.

based on what we heard on the radio and one game we saw so far, this is a more complete team(maybe missing a 6 fter but making that up with smarts) that gets everyone involved, last 2 yrs thompson was a 2 person show that fell apart at state(last yr was a prime example when 2 people start playing a "me" game and don't play team ball), the team suffered and lost to easy teams. And what i saw in 2 games last yr, thompson was behind and 1 of the seniors got benched and suddenly they came back and a underclassman had a play set up for her and won at the last second(defense got them back in both games, when the seniors were benched) that was on tv highlights. but what i want to get at is, you don't need a a person to score 25-30 points or a team to score a ton of points to win, just need good defense and get everyone involved. I just think this yrs team is a more complete "team". Even the coach said that last night with a senior from last yr sitting next to him on the radio

If you are going to continue to lie on this board, try being consistent with it. You say you have seen Thompson play one game so far, but in above post you had already seen them play twice. Can you get your story straight? I think I can speak for many when I say that your constant putting down of other teams and players got old a long time ago. I would consider saying you ( as in Thompson) lost to easy teams at state last year is a slap in the face to those teams. I saw no "easy" teams at state. You were beaten by a better team fair and simple so get over self and the silly notion that your 2 players caused you to lose because they wanted to pad their stats. Your obvious purpose in coming on this site is to irrationally promote one athlete while trying to criticize others and it is NOT COOL!

Hey momofathletes go under hot topics and the thread about best athlete in the state....one guess who Rad passionately argues for in the female league....
Then go look at all of his posts and notice how they all come back to that same person. Laughable! He's rarely at the game but has "heard" or "listened on the radio". "His people" told him all the stats and high end plays. He's a D1 basketball scout that hangs out on message boards, touts one player but rips her teammates and other kids, attends volleyball games of said player and argues that she is phenomenal in that sport but doesn't get awards there cause they'll only look at "height", (basketballs all about "points" if you're wondering). Radball stories are about as believable as a daytime soap opera. You can stop pitching the scout thing and not a Tommie fan thing radball, trust me on this NO ONES BUYING IT!!

Flying W, I saw the aforementioned "hot topic" post quite a while back and puked a little in my mouth. I agree with all of your above comments and have said many of them myself. I noticed long ago the lies... talking repeatedly about one person and when asked a direct question he either won't answer or says he is talking about someone else but can never back it up. Nothing but BS any way you look at it. And I have nothing against the athlete he posts about, just how he uses this site to pretend to be something he is not and thinking he is doing her a favor by throwing others under the bus.
