What about the region 1 teams? I imagine D2 is very strong again with MV, NC, and OG. Kindred and CC will be tough too I'd assume, but I'm not 100% sure. Lisbon only lost 1 role player off of their team so I would think they would be improved in D1.

The "bigs" for Central Cass (6'3" Dooley and 6' Romsdal) will be tough for anyone to stop. Combine that with their experienced guard play, Central Cass will be good.

NC and Maple Valley have some very good players but they won't have a bench so they'll have to stay out of foul trouble to compete. The new emphasis on calling "touch fouls" will not help.

Kindred has some good athletes and will always be there in the end. Oak Grove will be decent as well. IMO, Lisbon is the only D1 team that has a shot to win a game at regionals.

District 1
1. Lisbon
2. Hankinson
3. North Sargent
4. Sargent Central
5. Fairmount/CT

6. Oakes
7. Wyndmere-Lidgerwood
8. Milnor

1-5 is tight (slight change from previous ranking)

District 2
1. Central Cass
2. Northern Cass
3. Kindred
3. Maple Valley
3. Oak Grove
6. Enderlin

7. Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page
8. Richland

Too hard to chose 3-5 right now in District 2

FCT is the 2nd best team behind Lisbon in Dist. 1. Won a game in the regions last year, and bring most of their team back.

Hankinson
Sargent Central

IMO FCT has been in the gym all off season I would guess. I think they are going to be the team to beat.
