I'm assuming you're talking about the Miss Hoopster... Kindred should obviously be up there, I think they're 2... I thought Midway-Minto had a lot of girls back, but Dak. Prairie is ranked higher.

I still think Bottineau and Velva should be higher than 8 and 24. Bottineau lost some great players, but were unstoppable last year. Velva has some good young players.

Tioga will also be tough... If Bratlien returns to form she will be a Miss Basketball candidate.

I Think there are alot of teams under rated in the polls, also alot of over rated teams. Trinity should not be that high rated they lost there main scorers

Trinity is really overrated they lost their main scorers all they have is Mary Brooke and Jody Frank, other then that they dont have a whole lot. Beulah has Kayla Schmidt she is a very good player but she cant do it alone.  I think Hazen is under rated they only lost one senior last year and she wasnt a main scorer for them. BOwman also has alot of talent they didnt lose a whole lot in players

I don't know if I practiced more than anybody, but I sure practiced enough. I still wonder if somebody - somewhere - was practicing more than me.

There is a Hoopster for boys basketball.  It should be out pretty soon, if it's not out already.  I think they do have a pre-season power poll also.  You can also go to the ndhoopster site for the Region picks.

Nice to see Dakota Prairie up there.  Steve Forde is a great coach and he does a good job with the girls.  He has some talent coming back and will do a strong showing this fall/winter with his team.
