Sizer is overrated.  We faced him after the night he scored 44 against LMM and held him to 12.

personally i think the jury is out on sizer being overrated. we'll see what he does when his team is projected to be in the top tier of the district. i'm not sold on him at this point, i think that he is a slightly above-average player that is his team's only real scoring option. that said, the season hasn't even started and maybe he'll prove me wrong.

point totals mean little to nothing in high school. maybe player x was held to 10 points in three quarters against the starters. the game is a blow out and the starters sit and suddenly player x scores 10 or 15 in the fourth against freshman. looks like an impressive night, but in reality it isn't.

but that is just me personally. some people really give point per game averages a lot of importance.

to make this argument legit, we need the stats he put up against two teams, Lamoure and PBK.   His success against those to could answer his abilities i feel.

if the sun hadn't just changed over its website this summer, it would be easy enough to find, at the very least, point totals. but with the change in the site's format it becomes a little tougher to find those numbers.

do you have a breakdown of points/boards per quarter and the final scores of the games?

nobody knows about thomas burke from bowman, he was one of the best defenders in the state last year, ask jeff smith. he is a very underrated offensive player because he was in the shadow of tivis pauley and breen, but this year thomas will score over 20 a game in my predictions.

he's good but not good enough to carry the team like he is going to have to if the team is going to go anywhere.

Like the fellar said earlier bout someone havin a good night by gettin points when the other team pulls its starters and someone from the opposing team (Sizer) starts to light it up, thats what Beau did to PBK. PBK yanked the starters 7 mins to go in the 4th. and Sizer scored 18 points on the reserves that came in. Not trying to take anything away from him, hes got talent and can score but with no other support from his teammates yes hes gonna score.

I say tom bachmier and jarvis bearstail are the best duo in the state and the best trio is Neil, Nathaniel, and Rudy from Parshall

I don't think Rudy Young Bird should be called one of the best players in the state until he does something by himself.  He got open looks all of last year because the Packineaus drew defenders to them.  And even if he had done it all by himself it's not like he had a great year last year.  He averaged something like 12 points and didn't bring a whole lot else to the table.  He's a good enough player but he's far from great.  I'll be interested to see how he does next year without Neil and Nathaniel around.
