Florhaug's shot to win the region 3 title this year.  A fading away 23 footer. It was ridiculous.

Landon Smith's buzzer beater to win the state "B" for Trinity.  Maybe not the most artistic,  certainly a bit lucky, but without a doubt very DRAMATIC!

I know this is class b but I have to put in Fraase's fade away bank in three to upset Minot.

You will see more people of all ages once football season starts up again.  And of course when basketball and hockey roll around you will see everyone have some comments.  So don't think it's just you guys on here.  My board stats show that we are still getting lots of people reading the boards everyday, just not too many are commenting on the spring sports.

I saw andy leraas from hillsboro throw up desperation three pointer from the corner at the end of regulation in a regional or district game at Mayville State a few years back.  It was a "desperation shot" in every sense of the word...he literally grabbed the loose ball and let it fly from the hip.  And nothing but net.  It won the game or sent it into overtime.  Not sure who it was against.  Maybe someone else knows?

I know I was just saying that a lot of the people on here are high school athletes so it wasnt that difficult to figure out baseball was him.

Yep, lots of athletes, and for the most part they are doing a pretty good job of discussing the topics and not just trying to get some face time for themselves.

i'd have to say ryan ernst's 75 foot bomb in the state tourney two years ago when trinity lost to bottineau.it might be meaningless but how times to u see someone throw a 75 foot shot that is nothing but net.

I'm really thinking that a lucky shotwould go to a junior varsity player who has had no varisity experience, but that's only my opinion.

Yes SCC, I was there, the place went wild. North Border got blown out of the water earlier that year by cando. Almost 30 points if I remember right. We were the only team to give Cando an actual "game" during the regular season the year Evan Lindahl was a senior. We even had a chance to win but we blew it.

Heres a clutch shot for you. Not in ND, but amazing!

You can search on that site for "basketball," and there are quite a few other ones that will blow your mind. One in particular where a team was down by 3, hit a crazy off balanced 3 to tie....get the steal on the in bound lob with .7(give or take a tick) left, send it from 3/4 court and win the game......speechless.
