:)I was there when derek pauley shattered the backboard in the Bowman rec center. There was glass all over the floor and the whole place was going nuts, while derek pauley was standing there with a confused look on his face.:)

When I went to middle school in Devils Lake, I think Justin Johnson or Kermit Cooper shattered the glass at the gym there. I'm pretty sure it was Kermit, that boy had some hops.

Eric Engstrom from Leeds Shattered the backboard in a game agains FW.  It was in a JV game.  That was awesome to see!!!  I've broken a Rim but never shattered a backboard, in open gym.  Four Winds Rims are attached to the support.  Too bad I missed the dunk! hahaha

Early 90's Jamestown standout Nathan Kirby destroyed a backboard in the high school gym.  It was featured in the newspaper even.

Nothing like shattering a backboard for an ego boost.  That feeling would be awsome!, and no disrespect or anything like that

A few years back Will Spencer shattered the backboard at one of Century's practices.

I remember when IA broke a backboard.  He's 6'8" and about 370, he couldn't touch the rim so he grabbed the net and tried to pull himself up but the rim couldn't take it.
