Of the sixteen teams left, who does everyone feel are the top five contenders for a STATE TITLE.  I know everyone has a shot, but who do we think has the edge if they can get to the Dance?

I would say

Bowman and Trinity both, but sadly only one gets to go.  PBK, Mayport, and the Ryan/Bott. winner.  I also think FW has a shot if they are firing on all cylinders.

Same thing in the east.  Mayport NB winner plays PBK Lamoure winner the first game.

yeah then the weak regions of shiloh and wilton play the tioga parshall winner where none of them really have a shot of winning in my opinion.  Does anyone think we should start seeding the teams going into the state tourney?

I think it would be kinda tough seeding teams without fans thinking they got the raw end of the deal. For instance if both PBK and Four Winds make state they are both undefeated. Who gets #1? #2? Then lets say you have one loss teams like MPCG and Bowman or Trinity who do you give the #3 and #4 seed? I wouldn't be against it but just don't think it would solve anything. I have no problem with the way it is though either.

After tonight's games we will know the State Tournament matchups for sure.  But just imagine a first-round matchup between #1 May-Port and #3 PBK!  This would essentially be the best game of the tournament.

The mpcg and pbk game should be a good one they matchup pretty well.  The whole tournament looks amazing as far as talented teams.  Go pbk!
