Just like the NBA i think after the class B tourney, there should be an All Star Weekend. Have the Top Juniors and Seniors play each other, a dunk contest, three point shoot out and maybe even some older better known class B stars square off, something.

that would be sweet. hold it at the civic center televise it on tv. have voth square off with some other guys in the dunk contest. put jeff smith, payton tivis, derek pauley, brade schweitzer, etc. light it up from triple. i would pay good money to go to that.:D

Could be interesting.  Would give some kids who aren't on as good a team to perform in the state spotlight.  I think it's a good idea.

This would be cool but I doubt it will ever happen. There is the Lions game already, this event wouldn't get sanctioned and there really is no good time of the year. considering so many athletes are two or more sport participants.

South Dakota does it, heck I think they even have dunk contests around the regionals. I think folks would be amazed at how some of these kids can dunk now days! I was in Bismarck last night at the A tourney and Becker from Beulah put one down in the lane really easy. Boy there were some big boys there, that team from Williston are some giants, must be something in that oil field water or something!!;)

Watching Voth  do his 360s and timed ones off the floor off the backboard reverses reminds me of the spud web days "it just doesn't seem possible".

You haven't seen anything until you have seen voth do his windmill. This kid is hardly 5'11" and he can do a full out WINDMILL!!! Don't believe me??? I'll bet any money that during the warmups of the lions all star game he'll put one of them down. This is something you will never see a small white kid do in your lifetime. I'd advise you to make sure and come watch the all star games. Has anyone heard exactly what his verticle is??? I would love to know, because i know he can hit his head on the backboard pretty easy.

He has spent big money on learning the correct way to jump and money on being able to jump up there hasn't he?
