There are lots of district tournament championship games tonight.  Anyone listening to or attending he games can post some scores here.

I can get get a couple games on the radio.  Kindred/Richland, and Central CASS/Oak Grove.    I see Velva plays Bottineau, and Bowman plays Hettinger tonight, also some other good matchups.

Results anyone?

I am listening to strasburg vs hazelton right now online, strasburg up by 12 in the 3rd.    Ashley played the game before them for a region qualifying game and won.  Linton vs Steele-Dawson later.

That region could be a rematch of those two teams.  Parshall has a pretty young team I heard.

PBK 45            Lamoure42

Lamoure came out of the chute with 3 point guns blazing.  Had PBK down 14-4 in the first couple of minutes.  PBK fought back to a 25-24 half time lead.  Lamoure led most of the second half by as many as 5 points.  PBK took the lead with under a minute and hit 2 free throws with 2 seconds on the clock to seal the win.  Kulm and Ellendale were the other two winners in the loser out games.  Lamoure's only 3 losses on the year to PBK.  Good Championship game boys!!!!!!

I saw a score in one of the districts MPCG 39 and Hillsboro 26!  That must be god awful to watch!  Why don't you just agree to play the last two minutes of the game instead of having the fans have to put up with that torture.  Please!  JL

Bowman defeated Hettinger tonite in District 13.  Jeff Smith (28ppg) did not play tonite because of a high ankle sprain.  He'll be back for the Region 7 tournament.  He won District 13 player of the year, and Bowman put 5 people on the all-district team, 4 as unanimous choices.

I was wondering if he was hurt because he only scored 2 points, or something, Saturday night.  Hopefully he heals fast, and can play well.

I heard on the radio tonight that Bowman won District 13 with a defeat over Hettinger.  The Bulldogs were down at half 25-22, but rebounded well and outscored the the black devils in the 2nd half to win 62-45.  Derek Pauley shut the Hettinger crowd up while they were chanting BORING, the Bulldogs ran an alley oop play and Pauley dunked it off the oop, and from what the announcer said, the place went wild.  Great Job Bulldogs!   Jeff Smith and Peyton Tivis were named senior players of the year for District 13, and Coach Nic Zenker from Bowman won coach of the year.  Congrats to everyone good luck in Regionals.

From what I heard on the webcast tonite, he'll be available.  There are webcasts available for Region 7 as well.  www.kdix.net and www.kndcradio.com is where you can listen.  KDIX is out of Dickinson and the rocket Rod Kleinjian does play by play.  KNDC is out of Hettinger with the legendary Nolan Dix calling the action.

Four Winds 60        Leeds Minn. 40

10 -12 point game until last half of 4th quarter.  I had to go watch Four Winds play

again. They are a good team.  Quick and pesky guards that are in your face all nite.

They deserve to be in the state tourney if they make it.  Don't see anybody up there that will give them a run.  Small team though.  Going to have alot of trouble with a team that takes it inside on them.  6-3 center from Leeds (average player) shot at will uncontested.  Made quite a few too.  A couple of good big men down low is going to cause them alot of problems.
