this was an absolutely unbelieveable game, two top ranked teams in state, both undefeated, go into overtime, win by a last second shot by one point....can u imagine being a fan of that kind of team?! wow amazing....the new gym was packed to the max, it was crazy, they had to set up extra chairs even.  After Wahl made that last second shot, the whole Hankinson student body just ran out to the floor and practically tackled the players, what a great feeling.  Lisbon had a good, hard-fought game though, both teams played as best they could and Hankinson came out in a nail biter....id like to see if they get matched up in the district championship and even meet in regionals again...

yea sports junkie, lisbon wasnt at the top of their game, but neither was hankinson.  It could have been the same way as if hankinson had played better it would have been a different story, and a not so close one.  Both teams did play their best tonight but the both played the same.  Hankinson's Jaime Mauch has strep throat and one of their other players wasnt playing much better either that is usually elite.  There were a lot of bad passes and a lot of missed shots by both sides.  I guess all im getting at here, is that, yeah, lisbon didnt play their best, but hankinson didnt play their best at all either, so it was still an evenly matched game.  If both teams were at their best then it probably would have been just as close just with more points probably.
