I remembered asking when that game result was reported...never heard back...so my site went with the wrong one (probably where sorenson got these from); my site has been updated to correct bracket now

Both games counted in the district standings. I believe the rest of the bracket is correct though.

Updated, I jot down the standings on my Amazon tablet along with all the tournament brackets inaccurate on my part. I do follow Walking Stick's site tho, and "sometimes" NDHSAA. I seen there were a few play in games this weekend, so I posted early should have waited til Friday to post to be more accurate.

NDSCS Bonanza recap:

Gm 1: Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier over Richland by 30. EKM playing tough basketball right now, having beat SC by a dozen earlier in the week. They're going to be tough come tournament time.

Gm 2: Tri-State over Sisseton by 2. For a team that's 6-13, Tri-State has lost a lot of close games this year. They can surprise someone if you don't come ready to play.

Gm 3: Sargent County over Breckenridge by 23. I was surprised that Breckenridge didn't have much. SC imposed their will in this game with their inside play.

Gm 4: Wyndmere-Lidgerwood lost to Rothsay by 20. This game was close until 4 minutes to play, then Rothsay went on a run. Rothsay had some very good guard play, and W-L looks to be playing very decent towards the end of the year.

Gm 5: Hankinson lost in OT to Fergus Falls Hillcrest. Hillcrest led most of the first half, but the 2nd half was back & forth until the end. FF Hillcrest goes 6'9", 6'5", 6'4", 6'2", & 6'0" in their starting lineup, and they are a tough & balanced MN team. The fans got their money's worth in this one. The only other ND opponent of Hillcrest this year was Kindred, with Kindred winning 48-41 a couple of weeks ago.

Overall, it was a great warm-up for Region 1 teams going into the Districts, and always a great venue for Class B Basketball.
