Sargent County and Kindred will be a good game. Kindred has figured out how to start playing defense but are far from where they need to be. They have plenty of offensive talent that can score 60 points every night but the question is can they hold their opponent under 60. Sargent County plays with lots of heart and they have some talent to score. I think SC is defensively better than Kindred because of their age and experience. Kindred plays young because they are young. SC should be the favorite to win this one 67 to 60.

I don't see any more tests this week for any of the top teams beside the above game.

I believe the top teams are CC, SC, Kindred and OG right now.

Yes, for now. Subject to change however

Need to see more from OG. They have a couple of really good players, just not sold on depth and their team defense as of yet. Their schedule will make them battle tested but they do need to get better on the defensive end and reduce the empty possessions if they are going to be serious contenders. Right now, CC, SC and Kindred seem to be the cream of the crop in Region 1. Still time for OG, Richland and some others to show they are legit however.

Should be an entertaining game vs OG and Richland tonight. I believe they put up nearly 190 points combined when they played last year.

Game was at OG...that's why. OG is usually the top scoring site for many R1 teams because of the style of play and the rimz

Couldn't find a live stream for OG vs Richland. Saw that Richland won - good win for them. Anyone happen to see how this game played out?

Well OG can beat anyone and apparently can get beat by anyone. I believe they need to stop worrying about how many points each player is scoring and start getting rebounds. They are playing like it is a pickup game at Courts Plus. Card has always been about putting up points but I know he is not happy about the defense. He will have them ready by the time is tournament time.

Couldn't find a live stream for OG vs Richland. Saw that Richland won - good win for them. Anyone happen to see how this game played out?

Good teams know how to break the half-court/three-quarter-court zone that they are playing...defense is like Swiss cheese right now. Too many second chances and Richland took advantage; only one player scoring double digits doesn't help...need more out of the role players.

Richland played well, they were up 20 before Richland lost their big man. With him they are a top 15 team, without him they may struggle. But watch out for the Colts they are gonna be scary during Region Playoffs. But Hatfield may be top player in region. Guy can definitely score anywhere. OG will be fine and get better especially after losing 2 in a row now.

The lead was NEVER that large; it was back and forth until mid 3rd quarter and then Richland spread their lead to 14 at end of 3rd Quarter...then OG started making a run about midway through the 4th and cut it to 4 and then missed a few bunnies that could have really made things interesting. Richland is solid and many had them as a sleeper this year so this does not shock me one bit

Yeah 16 with 7 left. Close to 20 but without Richland Big man OG took advantage and clawed back. Great game to watch.

I think the SC and Kindred game is 5 points or less either way. SC has been playing some really good ball this year and have the ability to match up with anyone.

10 days ago I would have SC by 15 but it seems over the holiday break Kindred has figured out how to play defense. SC is a hustle team but I really question their defense. I understand they are not to deep so they have to watch their fouls. Kindred has young talent that can score in two Soph and a 8th grader but can they be physical enough in tonights game. If lots of fouls called tonight I will give it to Kindred but if they let them play... I will take SC.

Well the Ref's let them play and SC came out on top. Fun game to watch. SC outwork Kindred and got the win.
