Like the Class B's chances this year. Have a well rounded team with some serious height. Could they possibly sweep?

Should be a great game in Bismarck tonight. I think this might be Class B's year, but it is going to come down to which team plays better as a team. Interested to see how the Class B Coaches use the height they have.

This might be the best year for Class B Girls to have a quality weekend as well...Class A will dominate the Girls next year.

Boys, I foresee a split...even though I think the B Boys have enough to win both this year.

A little surprised but Class A always seems to find a way. Generally a more physical team. Didn't get a chance to watch but appears a lot of offense and not so much defense. Anybody see the game and have some thoughts? Does Class B have a chance in 2nd game? Seems like Class A pretty much controlled entire game.

B needs to get back on defense. Control the dribble better. A had a lot of drive and kicks for wide open 3's. Don't settle for so many 3's.

Is the Wagner kid from Ellendale playing anywhere next year? Even the A kids had trouble with his strength.

I think the B kids never really learn how to play with other talented kids. I think they try and dribble to do to much instead of letting the game come to them. Seemed like whoever got across half court was dribble until they got up a shot. Hendrickson was yelling out for the ball a handful of times. Never seen him play live but I am guessing he is high volume shooter. and it looked like the other high volume shooters wanted their shots as well. Wagner was the best player on the floor for the B last night. Kid works hard and is a strong kid. GET OUT OF HIS Way.... LOL.... Gus Hurlburt was the next best player on the floor... Took good open shots and moved the ball and worked the glass. Joe pulled lots of boards but had trouble getting some baskets under contact.
When Yankton and Pearson got shots up they hit them... Defense was not a display last night.

Hopefully the B treats the basketball like a hot potato tonight and moves the ball.

Well there is our split on the Boys side; this was Class B girls year to sweep cause I think the A side will dominate next year's all-start series.

Much better game for the B last night... less dribbling and more moving the ball around. Some good passing and hitting open shots. Joe Hurlburt had the dunk of the night if not the whole year. That was impressive. quite a few dunks last night with some good basketball. Congrats to the B for bringing one home.

Hurlburt's dunk wasn't better than Nhial's windmill dunk from WF Sheyenne or the other Class A putback dunk. Olson had some solid dunks off cuts and good passes...he was going to put nail in coffin with his last one but was fouled hard (made the FTs).

Nhial's windmill dunk was with nobody on him with no pressure. Don't get me wrong... awesome but.... Joe did it over a guy in traffic... That was impressive....
and yes Olson's had a couple dunks and with a little better pass on the alley oop would have brought the house to their feet. Also it is an all star game and you foul the kid hard at the end of the game.... What? I get it in a regular season type game but and all star game.... NOPE. Nobody needs to get hurt.

True on the hard foul but Hurlburt pulled the A player down on the next possession to not allow the 3 to get up. Both probably are intentional fouls in a normal game setting. I also don't think the intent was to injure or hurt Olson...dude has freakish hops and it made the timing of the foul a little more dramatic then the intent.

It was NOT accurate...scoring was not accurate for Class B
Therefore, I will likely need to rewatch the games and get one up online for both B & G.

Adie Wagner had an ACL tear. However, it sounds more positive in the tweet I read that she shouldn’t miss a lot of time with how the tear was…it was a complete tear and it just needs to be repaired not reconstructed.
