2020-2021 Top 10 Player Watch

There hasn't been much discussion on top players throughout the state. List your top 10 players, school they play for and what puts them in top 10 in ND.

Jesse White of White Shield, Lucas Schumacher and Carter Renz of Linton-HMB are 3 I have seen in person this year. {I will not comment on players I have not seen in person.}
White is a tremendous offensive force. Schumacher is an extremely athletic kid and Renz has always been a shooter, but this year he has become much more of a complete player.

I have seen Jesse play online a few times and he is fun to watch. Just curious if anyone knows what colleges are looking at him? at 5"11 that will be an issue for a larger program.

Trey Brandt of Beulah
Joe Hurlburt of Enderlin
Jesse White of White Shield
Scott Wagner of Ellendale
Jase Crockett of Northern Cass
Lucas Schumacher of Linton-HMB
Garret Meehl of Oakes

This is my list right now as I haven't seen everyone play statewide. But this is a pretty solid group that I have seen play early here in 2021.

2 or 3 players from four winds could be added to list easily. They have quite a few impactful players.

I would agree with that, but he is not one of the top 10 players in the state.

Grant and Simon Romfo from Langdon. 1 of 2 class b boys teams to remain undefeated. They are almost as impressive on what they can do on the court as they were on the football field.

He wasn't last Friday...that was actually Biesterfeld who had 35 and 10+ boards...but all 3 of those guys are matchup problems.

It would be too difficult and controversial to put them in any exact order but Hurlburt is one of the best to come through in a while from the couple games I have seen. When is the last time we had a 6'10 guy in class B handle the ball and shoot that well?

Other than that
Trey Brandt is an absolute stud
Jesse White of course
Lucas Schumacher of Linton-HMB
Fletshschock of D-A

Some that fly under the radar (maybe not top quite 10 statewide but from games I have seen)
Walker Wold- Berthold (big guy dominant from midrange and pretty good outside shot)

Caleb Poitra - Dunseith (one of the better slashers you will see)

Cy Luna - TGU (excellent shot creator, very shifty, some of the best footwork in class B)

Mitchell Leas- Rolla (sophomore can get hot and light you up quick)

Isaiah Bundy-Smith - Rugby (leader on that Rugby team, very balanced attack so stats wont always show it but very gifted player)

Honorable mention: Lucas Undlin - MLS Dont know how hes doing overall but the two games I watched he dropped 31 and 25 I believe (two way player, more of a slasher and midrange guy but can step out from deep as well)

I havent seen too many other teams so I am obviously missing some but thats my list!

I can speak a little bit on region 7. The returning all region players from last year were:
Trey Brandt, Caleb Duffield, Aiden Rebel, Grant Gerving, Jeran Anderson, Jake Daniels and Cole Fitterer. From what I have seen of them they are all having pretty solid years.
