There are a lot of good basketball podcasts out there right now. Let's get a thread going of people sharing specific shows or episodes because of a guest/idea.
I'll start.
Breakthrough Basketball has a good podcast. They did 38 episodes from 2016-17 and just started it back up again over the winter. It's not a weekly show, but the episodes feature coaches or trainers and talk about different ideas. Very good if you're looking for a specific topic.
"The Basketball Podcast" by Chris Oliver.
Brings on different guests and coaches for discussions about different degrees of the game. The episodes range from 45-90 minutes. Usually comes out with a new episode weekly.
Coaching Culture Podcast by Thrive on Challenge.
Not a basketball specific podcast, but it talks a lot about aspects of coaching.
Coach Unplugged (from Teachhoops.com)
I struggle with this podcast from episode to episode. Some of the episodes are great. Informative, interesting, and entertaining. Others are very short (under 5 minutes?) and still manages an ad-read for Dr. Dish and his website. If you can get over his awkward ad reads and focus on the meat and potatoes of what he's saying, it's great. High School basketball coach in Wisconsin, Steve Collins, is the host.
Episode 3 of Real Talk Basketball with Rex Walters.
Rex brought on Sundance Wicks as a guest. Northern State player under Don Meyer, very optimistic, full of energy and a great interview.
Episode 27 of the MIAA "A" Team Podcast
Another podcast featuring Sundance Wicks. He's just interesting to listen to.
