I'm guessing he will be playing in about a week or so.

Cavalier will play both teams on the road..@..Buxton and Thompson
I don't think there is a big gap between 3 and 4 or even 5
not sure if hes the best player on that team....team has the most depth in the region I would say, with good assets...Odenbach could easily start and would start anywhere else in the State immediately

Agreed that the Odenback kid starts on any other team in the state. I honestly dont' know why they aren't starting all 3 of those big kids over 6'5". They are all VERY good. Thompson has a wealth of talent!

Looking forward to CAV @ HCV, CAV @ THS, and rematch of HCV @ THS!

Sounded like Midway-Minto gave Thompson all they could handle last night with Tommies trailing with less than two minutes to go. I think it says a lot about the middle and bottom tier teams in region 2. While I believe there are only two or three teams that have what it takes to make a state run, there are a whole bunch of teams capable of pulling off an upset if a team has an off night. Should be a fun tournament!

Yeah Big Blue, it sure makes things interesting! MM has a great coach so one can never count them out. Also it seems a bit odd that Thompson is rated 3rd in region 2 but rated 1st in the state. Just goes to show how much the polls really matter! JM2C

Robinson always has his teams ready to go. What do you mean Thompson is rated third in the region?

Rated 3rd in the region?

3 teams are essentially tied at undefeated...but Thompson has less Region Points. Doesn’t mean they are ‘rated’ 3rd...this is called trying to ‘stir the pot’ without basic knowledge of standings!

REGION 2
Region Points (Overall)
Grafton 9-0 (7-2)
Cavalier 8-0 (8-0)
Thompson 7-0 (11-0)
Hillsboro-Central Valley 5-1 (7-1)
Park River-FL 6-3 (4-6)
North Border 3-2 (4-4)
Larimore 3-3 (6-3)
Hatton-Northwood 2-4 (6-2)
May-Port-CG 2-6 (1-9)
Midway-Minto 2-8 (2-7)
Drayton/Valley-Edinburg 1-5 (1-6)
Griggs County Central 0-6 (3-6)
Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page 0-8 (0-10)

I wasn't trying to "stir the pot" And I have BASIC knowledge. Looks to me that they are the 3rd team down from the top as we speak???

They're not rated 3rd. Anyone can see the reason they are 3rd in the standings is because they've played less games.

Yes...they have less region counting games:
Grafton has played 6 region games (6-0, 9 reg. pts: 9-0)
Cavalier has played 6 region games (6-0, 8 reg. pts: 8-0)
Thompson has played 4 region games (4-0, 7 reg. pts: 7-0)

All 3 are undefeated and in a virtual tie

Grafton is a distant 4th?

Cavalier is a distant 3rd

before winner can quote it. Cavalier had a 16 point lead in the 2nd quarter.
HCV won 62-58.

Hcv with another big comeback but man do they get calls in crunch time. Good game rematch would be just as entertaining.

I have to agree with the calls. I have heard that from a number of people who have played them. But just like Langdon in Football.... they get all the calls but they must be doing something right to get all the calls.

Here is a call that went against HCV. This FT was missed and he should have got to shoot again as it's a clear violation against #2.

Anyone with an internet connection can see it. It's a screen shot from the youtube broadcast.

true. they can also go online, watch the entire game, and form their own opinions.
Is it actually a violation in between quarters if they are below the free throw strip? I don't feel like looking through the rules book right now.

That should still be a violation since the quarter doesn't end until the free throw opportunity concludes.

Correct
