I think we can all agree he is an excellent athlete and has proven his toughness over a long career in several sports. I don't think anyone was trying to disrespect the kid or infringe on his or his family's privacy. Just discussing an injury that may affect the outcome of a game and sounds like some people thought it was already public knowledge.

I think your post should have read "Sorry I'm so stupid to report this."

Newspapers report HS injuries.

Thanks fellow members for the support!! I didn't think there was anything wrong with posting a knee injury otherwise I would not have. And I did NOT hear from a "Cavalier Parent". Stupid is as stupid does!!

Its Early Ball....
but if HCV can come back on Richland, they can beat Thompson IMO
I say last year R2's top 6 were across the board tougher than R1....
not the Case this year.....Had Richland not had their Calamity, they would have finished stronger obviously...
Richland could possibly be better than both as we speak...

HCV gets people in foul trouble. It will depend on how the game is called. If they let their best player use his free arm to create contact and fouls.... then Thompson might go done. But I have seen HCV play twice... it is early but they depend to much on one player.

I would agree on "the one player thing"
both Richland and Thompson are more "well-rounded"

Thompson was more well rounded on Friday. The players that scored went for 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, and 3.
HCV's players went for 16, 5, 4, 4, 3, 2, and 2.

Thompson's 5th highest scorer scored more than HCV's second.

Odenbach's 10 points, 11 boards, and 2 blocks off the bench were impressive. Schwabe warmed up with the team, but didn't play. There are still plenty of good matchups on the schedule this season in Region 2.

The HCV vs Thompson rematch will be fun to watch. As will both of their games vs Cavalier.

Thompson, HC-V, Cavalier and Grafton all seem to be very long, athletic and defensively strong. Of these 4, honestly believe it will come down to who can open up the middle with some consistent outside shooting. Not sure of the shooting percentage of the Thompson/HC-V game, but guessing it wasn't very good. Going to be a dog fight.

State rank..... Region Rank

No. 1........1. (65.three) Thompson
No. 4........2. (52.eight) Hillsboro/Central Valley
No. 6........3. (52.seven) Cavalier

extreme distant third

Had the Langdon Game (postponed) took place, Cavalier could be 8-0 with a higher QRF

I couldn't care less the QFR, W/L records or KFC. I have watched those 4 teams play and they can play with each other.

I think Cavalier could win vs either Thompson or HCV, particularity at home. I think the gap between 3 and 4 is significant. What I do think is impressive is that Thompson is playing as well as they are without their best player seeing a minute of playing time to this point. I'm guessing he will be playing in about a week or so.
