that should be a good one too!

W-L has depth I assume but Richland has the shooters....I say Richland will be hard to beat

Game is Wyndmere so I’m leaning towards W-L in a close one...could go either way. If Richland gets hot from the outside then they’ll take the game

I agree with you RUN, Wyndmere more physical and good atheletes, but Richland has a lot of talent but young.

I think W/L will take this one. I expect that the game will be close for most of the contest. W/L by 8-12

It was a good nail biter game. Richland was ahead by 12 in the 1st qtr, but then got into a standstill in the 2nd qtr, where WL caught up. They shut down Myers, but Reiland broke out with 19 points. WL Foertsch almost never missed a bucket, w/22 pts. Tied up at 46 end of 4th, then won 57-55 in OT.
Sat night Richland played LMM, 6-0. Richland found themselves down by 13 or more, but rebounded back to win 57-52. There was more manhandling by LMM, never seen so much touching and body rubbing w/o the refs calling on it.

Pretty sweet when mostly sophomores beat WL seniors. Hope they can continue on. Many more tough teams ahead.

Sophmores beat seniors all the time. Richland has a very nice team, but need to get use to physical play. In Jan they would of been my pick to come out of that Region-not sure if they are after seeing OG and MV play.
It is a little harder to motivate kids I guess because they’ve been pampered so much. We’re in the trophy generation, give ‘em a trophy for 23rd place, make ‘em feel good. Make mom and dad feel good.” Tom Izzo, Michigan State Basketball

Enderlin has hung right with Maple Valley in 2 games. lost by 12 at Maple Valley home court. lost by 2 at the Barnes County Tourney. A very good Young team with serious potential. Might not happen this year, but the next 3-4 years they will be right in the top(they return ALL of their starters and first 4 off the bench)....If They continue to improve this year they might surprise a few teams.

I would be surprised if any of the first four would be close.
PRFL @ HN I'll go with HN in a good close game. I could see either team winning big though.
GCC @ FSHP Two teams that are struggling. I'd go with GCC as they have a win.

Run --
How did you correctly assume that a 9-0 vs a 1-8 was going to be the 'Game of the night'? Is CC that much better than their record indicates?

Central Cass is a scary team...they are just young and a little inexperienced right now. Was it not a close, good game??

Didn't expect Cavalier to upset Grafton so I was slightly off...

Central Cass is a very young team but is improving. There are no obvious stars on this team that I can see, only a lot of kids vying for playing time. They legitimately can go 10 deep. JJ Albrecht, a 6-5 junior who was injured in football, will likely be rejoining the team with a greater role during the rest of the season. He plays hard as does the rest of the team and has much upside.

the way I read it Run, is he is saying you were correct in you prediction/assumption.....not that it matters at all though......
I saw the highlights of the Richland game and that was a great game....the game in Grafton was a battle too.

there will be many more battles in R1 & R2 this season!
