Best Returning Shooters 2017-18

Who will be the best shooters out of each region for the 17-18 season?

I would put Andrew Christianson (Oak Grove) on this list out of Region 1...157 3's over past two seasons shooting over 40% on them.

Some best players returning
St. John: Mcgillis and Prouty
Langdon: Delvo
Dakota Prairie: Sand
Four Winds: Black and Gourd
There are number of very good sophomores and Freshman on number of these teams for coming year who could develop into very good players this coming year. Overall its rebuilding year where there are no real dominant teams. The leading candidates are St. John and I think Fourwinds will be in the mix.

Region 7: Ferebee, Zetner, Doll
Region 8: Lebeau, Hanson

would be interesting to see how many 3's each of these players shot.....some really solid players here that offer much more to the game than a 3.....but I like the topic....a shooter is a shooter though and the line should be invisable to that shooter... McGillis makes a lot of pull up jumpers...

I did see christianson shot 157 in the last 2 yrs

2016-17 season: Christianson shot 48.6% from the floor (44.3% from 3; 83.8% from FT) for 581 points (22.3 ppg).

If this is based solely on 3 point shooting I wouldn't put Doll number 3 on the list from Region 7. He is a very good player, probably better at driving to the rim then he is at shooting the 3

Was also really impressed with Christianson's improvement in taking the ball into the lane and either making the drive (often with use of left hand) or drawing the foul. He led the team in making it to the FT line and obviously was very good once he got there.

I think if this list is based solely on shooters you would have to have D Schuster for Region 2 on the list. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe he had the most 3's in the region last year, and I think either him or Konschak are the region's leading returning scorers.

He played for Grafton, and he will be a Jr next year. Not sure on his exact stats, but yes I wasn't thinking of him. Thanks scc. I think him and Schuster must've been pretty close.

I would add Wyatt Harles from Wyndmere-Lidgerwood to the list of top R1 shooters.

Thanks. I haven't seen much of region 7. I just saw that he put up a lot of good numbers after Carr went down

Chance Bye (Enderlin) is also a decent shooter...his size hurts tho.

Another from Region 4, Dakota Prairie, Tyler Loe? Believe he was only freshman. Good 3 shooter.

T. Loe can stroke it....he'll shoot more threes than Sand next season...Sand is more of a slasher...likes to get to the free stripe
