Yes, teams in regions with district tournaments may not exceed 19 regular season games.

So varsity game for TLMM and JV game for New Town right ?

Just saw TLMM Trapper Jacobs scored 50 in the Bismarck Tribune no mention of 3-pointers.

5 3’s made 21-26 from FT line

26 free throw attempts is a crazy number.

5 T's, 2 ejections in the 4th quarter. 40+ fouls called on New Town. Not dogging the refs, have no idea what all transpired.

From what I understand New town did not play their whole varsity (sat 3 starters) but I wouldn't exactly consider it a JV. Weird to me.

Anyone at this game did NSP just out play or was there foul trouble as stanley has a short bench and could be a problem come tournament time..

I don't have much detail about the NSP game but I know with MLS it was a hard fought game all the way through. Could be the boys just didn't have the energy needed. I'm trying to get info on the game and if I do, I'll pass it along.

Sounds like the Stanley boys were not playing up to par and that the sloppy playing from Monday night carried over into Tuesday.

The New Town coach and a player were the ones ejected.

Stanley now has 2 losses, New Town keeps on winning. The postseason up here will be extremely compelling. Here's my new top 10:

1) New Town
2) Stanley
3) Powers Lake
4) North Shore-Plaza
5) Kenmare
6) White Shield
7) Parshall
8) Watford City
9) Mandaree
10) Burke County

After New Town and Stanley, it's literally a toss-up for the next 5 spots. There's no consistency in who has beaten whom.
Mandaree beat White Shield
White Shield beat North Shore/Plaza
NS/P split with Powers Lake
Parshall beat Mandaree

Figure that out.

Here's my picks:
1.) New Town
2.) Stanley
3.) NS/P
4.) Mandaree
5.) Powers Lake
6.) White Shield
7.) Kenmare

But I also have a feeling that one of NS/P, Mandaree, or White Shield might not make it out of Districts. 15 is a crazy one!

WC should still be in the hunt in the region. They seem to play good enough in the district/region games but haven't found their game outside of the region.

Lost to New Town early season (3 top six didn't play)
Beat N/S (with varsity)
They play Parshall tomorrow (with Varsity)
They beat all the other Disrtict 15 teams without the seniors (2 of top six & 7 or 8 man)
Lost to Stanley in close game.

Hard to put all those other district 15 teams ahead of WC at this point.

Stanley still the team to beat but not by much. A lot of parity in this region.

Watford City only has 3 wins under their belt, even with their returning players? I don't get it!

Williston (2x)
Stanley
Turtle Mountain
Dickinson (2x)
Beulah

There's 14 losses. Thats a pretty good schedule. Hopefully it helps against district and regional opponents at the end of the season.

This is how i think District 15 will play out.

1 seed NT will beat #8 WTC winner of play in game
4 seed NSP will barley get by #5 PHS
2 seed WC will beat #7 THS
3 seed WS over # 6 MHS best game of first day
The four that will move on to regionals if im right on the seeds will be
#1 NT
#2 WC
#3 WS
#4 NSP (MHS has a good chance to be the # 4 here, dont think they will be able to stop Andes though)

Just to clarify...if you believe Parshall will beat NS-P (your opinion)...then the region seeds would be Parshall (3) & NS-P (4) via the H2H tiebreaker in the tournament. Just thought I'd clarify that for you...the higher seed doesn't automatically get the higher seed - if they played within the district tournament and lost to a lower seed in the 1st round.

District 15 is going to have a really good tournament. Any of the top 4 teams can win the tourney, and the top 7 all have a decent claim to get to the region tournament. Here are my predictions:

New Town over Trinity Christian
North Shore-Plaza over Parshall
Watford City over Trenton
White Shield over Mandaree

Parshall over Trinity Christian
Mandaree over Trenton
North Shore-Plaza over New Town
Watford City over White Shield

White Shield over Parshall
New Town over Mandaree
North Shore-Plaza over Watford City

Regional Seeds
#1 North Shore-Plaza
#2 Watford City
#3 New Town
#4 White Shield

Just saw that in the Region 8 girl's first round, district 15 swept all four games. I could see D15 taking 3 of 4 at this region tournament too. Just such a deep group of teams.

Good tournament so far in district 15 some good match ups for the final day of action.

WC vs NSP watford won the 1st on by 3 points
WS vs PHS white shield won 1st by 4 points
NT vs MHS new town won the 1st one by 4 points
All 3 should be good games worth the price of admission
Ill go with NSP,WS, and NT

stanley beat new town by double digits and could have been worse. stat line showed new town with 80 shots to stanley 55!! from what i saw it was mostly offensive rebounds and put backs off long 3s. shows against nsp they shot 60+percent as team and still lost. people have doubted them all year and they beat teams (including Kenmare)without starters who were out hurt etc. PS...WC is out of the region they couldnt beat anyone. Powers lake is a good team and will be in the hunt for state next year i guarantee.

Yeah but we're talking about this year, not next year. PL v. WS should be the best first round match IMO, and they played to a close final score early this season (even though WS was up by a decent margin much of the game). I'm only picking WS because I have bias :D

Game 1 New Town over Burke County
Game 2 White Shield over Powers Lake think WS press will be to much for PL to handle and if WS stays out of foul trouble
Game 3 i want to say NSP over Stanley but dont know what NSP team will show up.
Will it be the team that lost to Parshall in first round of districts or the team that beat Stanley the 2nd time they played. I will say it will be the NSP team that beat Stanley and beat stanley in a close one
Game 4 another equal matched teams i will go Mandaree
They have a few more weapons then kenmare it will be a shootout though.
Game 5 New Town over WS
Game 6 Mandaree over NSP
Third place game NSP over WS
Champs New Town over MHS
Should be close games all week

Newtown over Burke County
Powerslake over White Shield - should be a fun game. Powers lake more disciplined and very good defense, game will be played at ppowerslake pace

Kenmare over Mandaree - this game is kind of a toss up, but i like the experienc of Kenamre even though alot of their players didnt play much last year.

Stanley Over NSP - i think stanley is going to come out on a mission and win this game by 10 pllus

Newtown over Powerslake.. will be a very good game

Stanley over Kenmare..

Stanley over Newtown.. would be the an awesome game to watch. two best teams by far in my opinion.

(Stanley could win everything this year)
