Probably few have eclipsed 180 FTM for a season, but Steve Blehm's single-season high was 239 as a junior.

I swear every time I read a stat about Steve Blehm it feels like a Paul Bunyan story. Crazy numbers on his career.

239 is an astronomical number.

Without knowing the number of games he played in, you could conservatively assume he was making about 10 per game.

I'm stumped on this especially if these were teams from a long time ago. I'll take a guess at 2010 Carrington and 1990 Edgeley

I'm taking three guesses hoping I get 2 of them right. I'll say 2001 North Border, 1980 New Town and 1979 Sargent Central.

2001 North Border is one of the correct answers. The other team that won the title without being ranked or having a player on the all-state team was 1965 Kenmare.

Donovan Lambert for New Town in 2011 and Bismarck Shiloh in 2012

I missed another player that played in the state tournament for two different teams. Randy Helling played for Michigan in 1973 as a freshman and then was the star player for Lakota in 1976 at the state tournament.

This is probably what he's talking about...sent on 2/16; it wasn't stated directly to you BUT it is an interesting question that I don't know the answer to...

Believe Steve Larson also played for 2 different state teams around '79. But one was Wahpeton (class A) so might not qualify for your question.

OK. I don't know the answer to this one, or if it has happened prior to this season. It is an interesting question though.

Steve Larson did come up earlier in this topic. Larson played for both the "A" and "B" champions in the same year, but didn't play in both state tournaments.

How many women head coaches have we had in boys basketball?
I'll guess 0 in class A, and 5 or less in B.

Im not sure but I would guess more than that in B. I can name 3 in the past 15 years just in Region 2.

The undefeated Page Panthers in 1986 lost to Oak Grove in the Region Championship. I personally think this is one of the best teams to not make it to the state tournament. Who were the 5 starters for Page that year?

My guess is 1987. I believe MayPort, Linton, Page, and Dunseith were all undefeated

I don't know the answer to this either, but what state tournament had the fewest amount of losses coming into the tournament?

I'm not Sure if this topic has been brought up and I don't think I'll go through 22 pages to check...

What are the highest career point totals for a Father/Son combination?

What are the highest career point totals for a family (Brothers)?

I don't know these answers, Just curious if anyone knows of any crazy statistics like these?

I'll throw out a guess for the Father/Son combination Pat and Houston Lavachek (1150 and 1910) for a total 3040

Mine would be Jerry and Brady Trenbeath. I think they're near the 3400 mark, but don't' have the numbers in front of me. Brady was right around 1500 for his career and I think his Jerry scored close to 2000

This is a question I'm curious about, not one I know the answer to. How many times has the State B champion also brought home a state title in football?

I know Thompson did it in 2018-19, HCV in 2017-18
