'81 Class B won 3 - 4. Girls won both and boys split. Not sure since then.

Pretty sure Class B swept all 4 games sometime in the mid to late 90's. Not sure if that was the only time.

Correction: Class B has never swept series.

Pretty sure the boys swept in '95 and also again in 2001.

Did some research. Class B has never swept the series.

Last time both teams won on the same night was in 2010 at Bismarck.

Girl's sweeps: '81, '92, '98, '02, '15, '18
Boy's sweeps: '94, '95, '97, '01

Class A sweeps: '82, '90, '96, '99, '04, '05, '09, '11, '17

Here's a question: Could not find results for '87 - '89. Did they quit having these games during that period?

1. One team beat another team five times in the same season, including the state championship game. What year did this happen?

2. Which team was outscored by 26 points in three state tournament games but still finished in 2nd place?

Those two teams played 5 times that year, but Rolla did not win all five. Bottineau won the first four and Rolla then won the state title game.

My guess would be Milnor in 1966.

This is correct. Won each of the first two games by one point then lost the championship game by 28.

Nobody seems to be coming up with the answer on this one so I will provide it: Mott beat New England St. Mary's five times in 1962.

New question:

Which state championship team from the 70's shot an incredible 66.7% (78-117) in three state tournament games?

LaMoure is not correct. Good guess considering how well LaMoure played in that tournament.

You are correct. John Rygg by himself was 33 of 43 from the field (77%). Great player.

1. What team won a state title despite losing three times to the same team during the season?

2. What school had at least one win over the eventual state champion during four different seasons in the 1970's?

Number 2 I'll say a team from the Region 2 area. I'll go with Hatton

Correct! Really good job on this, I didn't think anyone would come up with the answer. in 1979 Forman Sargent Central lost two regular season games to Hankinson by 3 points each and lost the district title game to Hankinson by 1 point. In the region semifinals Hankinson was upset by Kindred in OT and Sargent Central went on to beat Kindred 62-44 in the region title game.
