Anyone have a list of the Senior Athlete of the Year from each Region? (I know some Regions aren't done with their tournament yet.) Feel free to throw in Coach of the Year from each Region too.

Is Edwards a Brit that used to play for MSU?

I think this race was over before it started with Tronis in the field.

I don't think Tronis was the best player in his region. IMHO. But I'm a little bias and I'm sure the Region 4 coaches know more than I do.

I believe you're bias. :D I saw plenty of Region 4 this year, and though there are some great players in 4, (Komrosky comes to mind especially) Tronis is on a different level.

I know Tronis is a great player, but he really has not impressed me during the state tournament this year. I'm wondering if he will even make all tournament team if he doesn't have a great game tonight.

Henningsgard 19/2/2 - 28 mpg

McKay should get SOY and he should make the All Tournament team. Teams focus so much of their defense on him it opens up a lot of things for his teammates. When it comes to Four Winds, he is the "straw that stirs the drink".

The only two that I think should be inthe picture for senior athlete are McKay and Nelson. I am bias toward Nelson. Athletically McKay is very good. What bothers me is I don't think he plays very hard. I also disagree with the previous poster about teams focusing their defense on him. The first two games of the tournament that didn't seem to be the case. There isn't a need to, he takes to many plays off, and his teammates are to talented to be left alone.

I say Tronis is senior athlete. He is focused on. He couyld've & prob should've taken control of that game. Yes he takes plays off, i see that & walking off the court instead of hustling isn't good, but pound for pound he is best player out there. IMO

Everybody remember, this is an award based on the entire senior year. It has nothing to do with state tourney. I'll take Tronnis.

Yes

He had quite the year with MPCG. Top 4 finish and ranked as low as 10 preseason.
