Is this the year for a small town class B boy's tournament? A tournament where the entire community goes and all of the businesses lock their doors like old times? It is very unlikely but we sure can hope for that type of excitement again someday.

Just look at what happened with the Kindred crowd in the girls game today...class B small town at its finest!

Absolutely love that when I hear "State B tournament" I instantly think of towns like Bismarck, Fargo, Minot, and Dickinson. Really happy for all these small communities.

TLMM vs Shiloh would love to see a District 10 team advance for once. Plus TLMM and Shiloh played in the Mandan Holiday Tournament title game earlier this season and Shiloh won by 10. TLMM by 2.

I see the consensus in Region 3 is that Ellendale, Linton-HMB and Carrington are the odds-on favorites. That may be true in the end, but the route to get to the championship game may not be as simple as people think. Everyone thinks Ellendale got an easy draw (bracket side), but both Kidder County and/or Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter, who each played the Cardinals during the regular season, are not easy draws, and could put quite a scare into them, if not upset them. Don’t be deceived by records, both KC and NGS looked good in the districts, and NGS can’t look past EKM in the first round either, even though I think both Ellendale and NGS will emerge from the opening round. In the top bracket, I expect LHMB and Carrington to win in the first round, but Carrington will have a tougher time with Strasburg-Zeeland than people anticipate. Anyway, it should be an exciting tournament with a lot of close games, especially in the final two rounds.

TLMM would be the sleeper team in this tournament they have the ability to hang with any team but their play is inconsistent( can't miss some nights, can't make anything on others) but definitely a sleeper team when firing on all cylinders

I do not see them getting past Solen tonight. I think Solen had too much firepower for TLMM. IMO TLMM will have to play a lot slower than usual to give themselves a chance tonight because I do not think they will be able to hang with Solen in a fast pace shootout.

Hopefully you were able to get out of your parents basement and watch the games. For once District 10 is playing to go to State.
