The block movement

Postby ReadyToPlay » Wed Mar 01, 2017 8:40 am

Been wanting to ask this question for the past few years but never got around to it...On lining up for a free throw, we used to line up on the bottom side of the block and now they line up on the top side of the block. Does anyone know why? No big deal but just curious on the reasoning....

In the past some thought the offensive team actually had the advantage when the defensive team had to be lower. They also wanted to reduce the number of players in the lane to reduce chance of injury
